How do you name your files Cred Forums?

for huge collections, like my l/e/wd folder or my pepe folder, files are renamed according to their sha-1 checksum, in order to keep multiples to a minimum
all the other stuff i download just keeps its original name

Everything downloads to a sorting folder. I maintain organizing it for a month or two.One night i download a fucking shit load of stuff for no reason.I forget about this sorting folder as i just copy/paste/extract things as needed.6 month later.The sorting folder has not been modified since you build your computer,you open it accidentally

Do people not use the default names?
I only rename Manga, or things I need in Order. 001, 002, etc.
Bulk Rename Utility helps.

Documents and pdfs get their title as their filename.
Executables and other program files get their title as their filename as well.
I give all my video files and flash files and gifs names that are relevant to their content, since the way thumbnails are generated for those files doesnt always give a clear indication of their content.
Occasionally I will do this for images too, like what you'd see in a filename thread.
Most of my other pictures are sorted by folder and have no reason to have a descriptive filename.
Music files get named track number - title in a subfolder with the album name in a folder with the artist name.
Multiple artist stuff goes in a huge cesspool of a folder called compilations that contains folders titled by their album name.
That wouldn't matter so much anyway if I ever bothered to import my library into foobar, but instead I navigate it through my file explorer so my system leaves something to be desired.
Especially when I grab random single tracks that I tell myself I'll find the source for later.

For pictures, once they're in the proper folder each one is assigned a random 10 digit code selected from mashing my fingers on the numpad. If that's a duplicate file name, increase 1d10 numbers by 1 and try again.

Generally keywords separated by underscores, for searchability. At one point I attempted to organize into folders, (greentext, life hacks, etc.) but I barely do that anymore, I just have a reaction folder for easy access when I need it.

I upload them to Cred Forums, then download them again. It's a free pic renaming web service. Doesn't support many formats, though.
