The first faggot to make a book

Depends if backlit or lit by the environment

Environment is ok, but they really should have thought about something else for devices the use a electronic screen.

Millennial spotted

Honestly I don't like it when it's anything other than black letters, white background.

I tried reading black background and white letters to conserve power on my tablet and e-ink device and both times my eyes started to hurt after a certain amount of time.

Why mess with it if we got it right the first time??

Its pretty well knwon that 100% black on 100% white is shit for reading.

>Its pretty well knwon that 100% black on 100% white is shit for reading.
>books are shit for reading

Books are kinda yellow man

Unless your tablet has an OLED screen you won't save any battery reading white on black.
I think TN panels actually use marginally more power when displaying dark colors vs. light ones. Maybe IPS too, not sure.

Feel free to go pick up a book and tell me about how white the pages are.

white on black on pc and black on white on my old kindle touch. GOAT

Also variation in lighting softens page if it isn't glossy paper. Books are comfy as fuck.

ereaders are more black on grey too.

>Feel free to go pick up a book and tell me about how white the pages are.
they're white.

my books were printed /after/ the 1800s.

Prove it

aight brb gonna go fetch a spectroscope from the lab

bullshit

I wanna see your damn books side by side with some white paper

then you'll just damage control over the white balance and contrast of my camera.

Not if you use WHITE paper like I said

but what if his white paper is secretly yellow
we'd never know

He'll look like a damn fool with yellow paper

nevertheless, here ya go
unedited straight from my tablet camera, which is the best i have atm.

sorry if I can't prove the paper is white, but I think you'll agree i haven't had time to dye it since posting last.

That book is gray

When it comes to screens, pic related is perfect for me.

>That book is gray
then that paper is also gray.

why did you buy gray paper, user? what possible use could that serve?

I requested white paper..

It's easier to read with 100% black ink than white paper
