Build super awesome gaming pc

>build super awesome gaming pc
>turn it on
>lights come on, then reboot in 2 seconds with no post

>take it apart, rebuild it again
>turn it on, everything works, set it up
>no longer in the mood to play games
>wire management an absolute mess from not being motivated enough to fix that after putting it back together

It's been one week now and I haven't even turned it on since setting it up. Anyone else been in a similar situation?

>build super awesome gaming pc
>turn it on
>suddenly lose all will to play games
like clockwork

no, all the machines i've built have worked first try with no problems or issues

>Build super awesome gaming PC
>Mobo dies randomly
>not motivated to fix it for a year and a half
>by the time it's fixed I've grown accustomed to not even using a desktop

>build super awesome gaming pc
>turn it on
>hang out on text-only online RPGs from the 1990s

What else is new?

Just goes to show most of Cred Forums isn't tech savvy enough to benefit from running games...

>build a new gabenstation
>turn it on
>figuring out what games to install
>end up only installing Warcraft 3

Every time

>pay 20 bucks to have my outdated-from-the start PC build by some slav warehouse worker
>cable management doesn't exist
>MB speaker not installed
>card reader not connected
>boot it up
>play games
>have fun
those were the times

I get the feeling mods will delete this thread or the op because it's not anime...

Like they did for Are they all autistic virgins?

I can confirm I have done this. I left my quad-core, GTX 760 rig for two years before I started it again.

On my most recent build it kept erroring on post because of my RAM. Everything was seated correctly. I popped my second DIMM out and it posted just fine then. I reseated it into a different slot and it worked so the DIMM itself was fine. After dicking with it for a few days I put it back in it's original slot and had no problems since. They get finicky sometimes.

so glad I never fell for the gaming pc meme

huh I didn't realize Cred Forums was

I'm kind of going through a similar experience.
I built a ~$700 pc and played games for like a month.
Now I just shot post in IRC channels all day.

>have good desktop PC
>only shitpost from a core duo thinkpad, core 2 duo hp and atom tablet

But hey at least I run use better upscaling algorithms, r-right?

>think about building new super gaming pc
>only play dota and cs
>stop thinking about building new super gaming pc
this has happened for 3 years now

Get some new games...

>buy pre built gaming pc
>realize pc games are shit
>pull out old SNES and play zelda

pc gaming master race my ass

>Anyone else?

No.

I spent money buying those parts. I will fucking make them work, and the system will be put together professionally. Again and again, as many times as it takes, until it works like a piece of art without any flaw.

Usually takes 3 days or so, maybe a week. Then it runs for ten years, or more, with a good cleaning every 4-6 months.

>buy 3000 facebook machine
>download games
>they run like shit

I guess you're the only one who didn't notice
