Neutral white appears brighter than warm white. For a thing like a flashlight, unless you have very specific circumstances where warm light would be better (you don't), neutral white is superior. Warm lighting is better for lighting up a room, neutral and cool lighting is better for finding things in the dark.

I have one of the smaller ones on my nightstand right now, really happy with it. It has a sound sensor, so you can set it to only show time when there is noise (i found snapping my fingers or slighly knocking on the table its on works best) and then it slowly fades out. Much better than having the bright leds on all the time illuminating the room when you're trying to sleep.

You can of course set it to be on all the time as well, if you're like
