I'm working on it, OP. Give me a moment because I'm not very quick in gimp skilz
eh maybe I'll catch the next thread, it's taking me a long time just to make my bottom panel!
Don't use Gimp man, try with Inkscape or something.
there's also Illustrator on Wine that works pretty well.
Is that 'Arc-Grey' by the way?
I don't know how to use those softwares so the time invested in learning them would actuall end up making it take longer than gimp!
What is that launcher?
quick mockup i did
krunner
Papirus, which is somehow linked to the Arch project. I don't follow ricer fork drama or whatever but it recommended installing Arc-Dark
>Cred Forums
>not using MS Paint
You're giving them too much quality lad
awesome :^)
well, inkscape is 'kinda' intuitive & is pretty easy to understand if you know Gimp.
But still, not as easy to understand as Illustrator or other Adobe software I guess.
s/Arch/Arc/g
Something that looks like KDE 1.0 , CDE or pic related
Forgot the pic.
>wants a linux as comfy as windows 7
>mint is android: doesn't ever specify de/wm
Holy fuck! There a͟r͟e parallel universes.
a͟r͟er͟ tersr͟d
wut
I just want something like xfce, but with something like Krunner
gimp guy here I gave up because it was boring. I added a music player popup notification but then saved and closed the file.
Ignore shitty paint skills and 800x600 resolution. Window manager should support some kind of smart tiling.
Also what would be great is Ctrl+Scrollwheel (or similar) to be able to zoom out to maybe 10x superresolution, like a "world map" of the desktop or whatever. Allow for panning and shit.

nope, that's jide.com
You could write a compiz plugin to support that, and iirc metisse did something like this back in 2007 last time I used it
What's this from? I like embossed gray UIs
Working on something on my side, tell me your thoughts guys.
>Metisse
Oh wow, this is pretty sweet. Thanks user.
Why isn't this a bigger thing?
idk why it lost, the facades feature is cool as fuck. You can just make toolbars and shit in real time
youtube.com
Video that I presume is about it, didn't actually watch it
Something like this
8/10
Shit wallpaper
This thread is for Linux users dumb fuck
>implying you can't use MS Paint in Linux
SX-Window
I did something like this in openbox. After the novelty wore off all I had was a soulless barebones environment which raped my eyes.
I miss the pin-stripes too.
I think I advanced just a little bit.
Here's a wallpaper now faggot.
Better ?
That's one retarded wallpaper, user.
Give me a good one then.
Text on the microphone button wasn't big enough so I had to upsize it a bit.
...
Got some more
That actually looks nice, user. I never even considered ricing my desktop, but now i kinda want to. Mind sharing the setup?
That's actually looking pretty fucking usable. What WM is it?
That's a mockup I made with Illustrator guys, so unfortunately not a real thing.
But maybe we could make it happen :^)
Who knows ?
