Mouse thread

Mouse thread.

I'm in the market for a new mouse, without gaming bullshits or leds. This was my last mouse. What is the most simplicistic mouse with good sensor, driverless, and possibly durable?

Possibly under 30 €, thanks.

Bump.

>most simplicistic mouse
The same one you've had before.

But yeah, just get any cheap mouse. They all work fine.

This is glorious. Prove me wrong.

This is definetly an option but before going with something i already know very well costing only 10 €, i want to lurk a little more. Other suggestions?

Despite their software being shit, ive heard microsoft is quite good at peripherals. Is this another Cred Forums crispy dank meme or actually legit?

AmazonBasics mouse

>not even for free / 10

look up things with pixart 3310 on

DM1 Pro S
>3360 (Best sensor RN)
>Basic Shape
>Gloss or Matte

3360

I literally have the mouse as your picture OP. Serves me for like the 6th year now. Works fine, even the cable isn't damaged or anything. Never failed me. Logitech's software is purely optional, I had no issues using it driverless all the way from XP to win10. There might be better options now though.

What benefit is there in being driverless?

>not using superior trackball technology

basic logitech wired mouses are nice. Their tiny wireless ones(eg M187)? Not so nice. The power toggle gets stuck in one position.

For mice, it's legit. Their keyboards are all rubber dome of course but they're decent enough. I'd still choose Model M if you can afford it. I don't use any other M$ peripherals so I can't speak for them.
>software is shit
Fuck off linuxfag.

Are there any good small-ish wireless mice? dont' need wired for anything.

MS Trackball Explorer or Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman

mouse is deprecated

What the honest fuck?

>inverted version of a ball track mouse
Pen tablets are much more ergonomic and provide more precision

the mouse im currently using it is 30 CAD it does have a driver but that is only for customizing dpi/button binding. the only other downside i have is that it is a lot larger than an average mouse but i have large hands myself so it fits nice

No thanks, I'd rather not drag my hand/arm around my desk

its all wrist movement + you get a better sense of direction b/c you literally point to the area you want the cursor to be.

OP here, logitech m100 (current mouse) vs logitech m500.

M100:
+ i know it very well
+ cheap (10 €)
+ simple

- the wheel is noisy
- a bit too small (only claw grip)

M500:
+ seems sturdier
+ bigger
+ infinite scroll could be nice

- "expensive" (30 €)
- i don't know if there are hidden flaws, reviews are vague as fuck
- less simplicistic

What do?
