Google provides great services (gmail, maps, calander, drive that makes colaborating easy although it could have better rights management, keep, ads that fund websites, invest money in research that might improve our quality of life). They just need to seperate private and social instead of trying to integrate it. With Google+, YouTube using your real name and Google Play Reviews being shared with business contacts I was forced to stop using Google for social shit.

To add: I dont even comment on YouTube or share my gmail anymore. Thanks to Googles push to share my data with "friends" I got my own domain for email.

Are you sure about this, Facebook definitely wants to take over the internet. They're trying to sell only facebook enabled internet in India. They're better and better at online advertizing. And I can definitely see them becoming the new normie search engine. An all encompassing platform, It's slowly happening and I hope it fails spectacularly.

When I was stillin school I used facebook but I deleted my account some time after it. Facebook really provides nothing of value to me, I couldn't give less of a shit to have a place to meet old friends on with whom I share no interests whatsoever.
