did you maybe think about installing the GNU corelibs and other components for a full operating system?

Upgrade past xp faggot

Funny thing is that XP updated faster.

I won't.
I went to 7 once, it worked a few years, but it made a whole mess by wasting lots and lots of my time.
Time I could've used shitposting.

Even funnier that you had to manually do it, w10 did updates and drivers itself.

>having this much trouble with the hand holding OS.

Perhaps you should just get a chromebook or a tablet for toddlers.

It does. But it also destroys bootloaders and boot mechanisms en masse.
Even secure boot got rekt by it, but that's another story.

>implying this is a good thing

Nah senpai 7 was alright but as far as I remember from my last reinstall, it also had problems finding drivers n shiet. I don't know bout w8 but that was for tablets anyway so doesn't count. W10 is alright once you disable all the background surveillance, and best is a clean install because upgrading from an older (again, my experience was from w7 to w10) version majorly fucked shit up and things got slow and laggy.

>install linux
>it's just windows with no games

I know that feel. Fuck Linux, it's total shit.

Say I'm casual, I don't have time to look for upgrades, updates, overnight builds, latest stable betas, etc. So having that automated to me and whole lotta other fags is handy.
Besides, you can disable it, still, and approve when updates are available, afaik

Linux fags everyone. Yes they really are that stupid.

All drivers are automatically installed if it's in Microsofts database, you just have to lean back and do nothing.

I don't see the reason for upgrading, everything I use still works.
