When I used to use windows, the right super key was useful for snapping windows to the sides of the screen with one hand, as it is right next to the arrow keys.

Now I have a keyboard with no super key, and I use alt shift on i3 for the same thing.

I have a keyboard like that. By default it is not bound to super though, it is some punctuation.

I use the super key all the time. In fact, it's the cornerstone of AwesomeWM - not that you couldn't remap the key, but it is the default.

I don't think I have ever intentionally used this key before.
