Yes, we know everything already is from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on Gearbest, AliExpress, eBay and similar sites.

let me tell you about this great concept for a thread called /csg/ afterparty to discuss our long-term experiences with chinese products
Ian Watson
Sharks are still good
Chase Mitchell
stay away from sharks you can do way better
Joshua Powell
A relative of mine designs the "as seen on tv" stuff you see on tv
He has some interesting stories about working with Chinese manufacturers.
Would you all be interested in a Q&A? I could try to ask him any questions you have
Andrew Lee
Sounds really interesting.
Blake Ramirez
whats the chinkiest chink a chink has chinked your relative with.
Asher Brown
Well, it's been a while since I've talked to him, but he says that it's sometimes quite pathetic how they turn your design into a product
Like you send the Chinese a sample of whatever you want to make, and then they send you back a sample of how *they* will make it. But that's their prototype for how they THINK they will make it
So you write up the contract.... and once the units start shipping, you recoil in terror at how they ACTUALLY produced it
Juan Perez
Ask him what the most useless thing was he designed. There are way too many useless shit but bet he knows which one takes the crown.
Caleb Baker
assk him what garden hose he uses
Oliver Moore
Could you recommend me some good chink headphones? Had Piston v3 (youth and normal ones) and they stopped worked within months.
Ian Morales
He's done some wacky things. Shoes with ears, for one
But hey, when you get 1¢ per unit sold, and they manufacture 700,000 units, it's a pretty good business to be in
Cameron Davis
> and they stopped worked within months Due to mechanical stress? How'd it happen? What do you think is the improvement you're looking for...?
The Xiaomeme are already some of the more mechanically sturdy IEM though...
Carter Cox
Is it bad that I actually think that's a good idea?
Blake Adams
Just dunno, they stopped making noise. The improvement I want is that they actually last half a year at least. I like bass too.
Jace Phillips
do you want full size or iem like your pistons? if IEM: Senfer UES [recently csg iem meme] they're pricier than most other chink IEMs, but theyre absolutely worth the money. they use the same cable mechanism as Shure IEMs, so you can replace the cable [which is almost always what goes bad in IEMs theyre not niggerbass tier so they'll probably suit your tastes with the piston v3
whats your budget if not IEM?
Levi Rogers
IEMs are better for me, portability mostly. 30eurobucks would be the max, I don't quite like those Senfer.
Asher Cooper
why don't you like the senfer?
you also might want to ask for suggestions on /hpg/
Nathaniel Jones
I don't like that removable cable thingie. Also the design. After having spent 30 on the pistons a while ago I am a little afraid of spending that much if they're gonna last 2 months.
Isaac Ortiz
why don't you like the removable cable? it'd help the headphones not fucking die. that's the whole point. instead of buying entirely new iems, you just buy a new cable for like ~8 dollars
what about the design don't you like?
Aaron Turner
If anyone is interested i this kind of thing, this podcast episode is worth a listen.
Some guy was ranting on biz about how fucked it was dealing with them as well. There definitely seems to be a certain way to go about it.

Even the mediatek ones, WOW.
Xavier Clark
I loved the monk plus, any good chinese brand amp dac combos on sale too?
Juan Hill
Which one of those Sardines is the newest/best one? Thinking of buying one over Xiaomi just because of FM, clock and alarm. I wonder how the sound quality differs from Xiaomi
Anyone know if this is good and really has 1gbs ethernet?
Evan Ward
Chinks never lie
Lincoln Parker
I have the SDY-019. It has worked since I got it like 1-2 years ago. I never tried the other one(s) including that probably newer one that looks ruggedized / is waterproof.
Sound quality isn't really different from the Xiaomi as far as I can tell. It's fine for a small portable speaker. [I haven't done any particularly test series with sounds across the frequency spectrum or anything.]
Radio reception is better than on most other bar-type speakers, but not quite as good as on radios with a big antenna. Still, it does the job here whereas other box / bar type radios had poor reception, so it's the easy, compact all in one speaker for me.
The only downside to me is that it seems there is some kind of parasitic power drain in the device. It can discharge on its own over a period of some weeks. Not that this is a huge deal with the pretty fast charging battery, but still, I think it's something the Xiaomi doesn't do.
Hudson Mitchell
Why wouldn't it? It says so right in the description, and it's not like GBE is expensive in a cheap but workable chipset...
Same thing with USB2.0 is even half that, but USB3.0 is of course kinda nicer.
Jaxon Watson
Planning on getting a custom mousepad with this design, what do you guys think?
Jason Hughes
You really like old textbooks huh?
Landon Perez
...
Easton Lee
Nah, unless this is to be placed in a room full of surfboards with tropical theme, this isn't such a good choice.
I'd pick something with actual character (your animu waifu/husbando or some meme subject or whatever).
Jason Ortiz
...but I don't like anime
Cameron Bailey
I'll pull the plug then. Thanks user.
Ryder Kelly
The mousepads literally only cost 60p.
Put whatever the fuck you want on them.
I have one but I don't use it. Too small.
Connor Martinez
no idea, but i have it and it works well
Jaxon Rivera
Then pick whatever else you like. Something that might make you happy when you see it. Be it something relating to your hobbies or just some sexy abs or tits or whatever.
While I don't actually know your taste, I'm just guessing some boring comercial "jazz" paper cup design will not quite do that. And it's also not going to be a particularly neutral pattern in most rooms.
Dominic Morales
>The mousepads literally only cost 60p. That depends. Big Ali 80x60 cm ones with sewn / rounded rims or things like that cost a bit more.
I was assuming she / he was looking at something bigger anyhow, judging by the format.
Joshua Peterson
Lads. I finally did it. My LG G3 dropped one too many calls and I'm fucking sick of it.
Did I do it right? Gold was the only cheapest colour but I can suffer with that.
Haven't ordered one yet, but that seems like a quite good deal to me, even if you can get non-customized designs for a bit less: aliexpress.com/item/plain/32625398100.html
Aaron Thomas
Would I be stupid to buy a K+M from the chinks? I already fell for the audio meme, and I loved everything I bought so far, as well as the note 3 pro and that's been the best phone I've ever used.
Are there any good cheap keyboards that the chinks make? Doesn't need to be memechanical or anything, just a decent rubber dome one. I'll take mouse recs as well if any of you have any
Isaac Collins
The rubber dome motospeed is okay so far, but it's only been in use for a bunch of days. That said, it actually costs more than a Logitech costs here.
I've been using pic related mouse for some months now, also fine.
Note that they also *do* have a mechanical keyboard for ~3x as much, if you prefer those. [Actually most Chinese mech keyboards are quite fine, as far as I can tell.]
Andrew Howard
What are the comfiest, most neutral headphones within the scope of /csg/? I'm used to IEMs, so I guess I don't give much of a fuck about open vs closed.
Christopher King
keyboards? maybe. mice? yes. you can get a real deathadder for 24 to 31 usd on aliexpress can be registered on razer's site too razer isn't the greatest but they'll sure as fuck do better than any chink mouse of similar pricing you'll actually have good customizable settings in the driver with the razer aliexpress.com/item/Deathadder/32670519927.html
for kb, unless you're getting mechs, youre kind of in an unknown space. most people here really don't buy rubber domes though that said, you can get GOOD mech keyboards for around 40 usd amazon.com/Qisan-Mechanical-Keyboard-68-Keys-Magicforce/dp/B01ABUJ0FY/ cheaper on amazon for some reason
Thomas Phillips
Either ISK 2010 or Superlux 662 EVO both are slightly V-Shaped

Gold is the Chink ROM, I don't know if you can just flash a different one on that
Are you sure you're looking properly? I see the decent silvers for lower
David Davis
>razer isn't the greatest but they'll sure as fuck do better than any chink mouse of similar pricing Nope, I like my $6 gaymen glow chink mouse better.
Easton Torres
That's cool. I fell for the zircon meme and I'm more or less satisfied with their sound anyway.
Owen Roberts
I'm kinda looking for a $20 in total solution. Basically just turning my T420 into a desktop for grad school. Any driverless mouse recs?I use linux as my only OS so I find driver settings and whatnot to be the utmost in computerized cancer. That actually looks pretty damn good. It's 2 bucks more than the cheapest wired logitech on amazon, but that is much too thin to comfortably type on. Could I get a link for that? This, my zircons are excellent, especially with foam buds
Jackson Gomez
So the redmi 3s is a no go?
Brandon Ross
Got a link to one without the chink rom? It does say here in the description it has google play and whatnot
Ryan Wood
I have sent the seller a message to check if the phone version and model is ok for my use.
Both should be good, plus most of the much ordered wired ones on ali. Have not checked that these are the very cheapest offers.
If you don't play games and don't need a particularly ergonomic one or even prefer one that doesn't have size and unshapely parts for throwing into a bag, this is a typical "common" desktop mouse that can do the job: aliexpress.com/item/boring_stock_mouse/32631651374.html
However, i charged it to about 50%, then went to sleep. When i tried turning it on this morning i got a red led blinking like there's no battery.
What could have happened?
Adrian Edwards
Order got denied at AliExpress Should I appeal or just start anew with my PayPal?
Carson Flores
Don't know why you deleted your post but thanks user
Isaiah Richardson
Really hard to tell, maybe you depleted or shorted the battery somehow?
Samuel Hernandez
Mainly 'cause I had referenced the wrong post.
Some people don't see the response then, so I just deleted & reposted.
Jeremiah Hughes
Maybe i left it on Sleep mode? Would that explain the discharge?
Grayson Collins
Are you using the charger that came with? Happened to my friends chink tablet. Turns out its not getting enough juice from a small usb adapter
Brody Morgan
shouldve gone the ulefone power
Andrew Morales
What's wrong with this?
I wouldn't buy a kingdian ssd or mixza shark if anons said it dies or glitches up after a few months for example.
It's a good idea to help us make better decisions based on other anons experiences?
Nolan Brooks
Why? K6000 pro has bigger ROM and metal chassis and iirc it costs less
Brandon Richardson
Yes. That charger is plugged into the EU adapter. Took about 1,5 hours to charge to 50%
Andrew Miller
Nah, not easily. Suspend-to-ram never mind suspend-to-disk shouldn't draw much power.
Not sure how fast the battery drains when it's idle, but powered on with the screen off though, that might have drained it.
Either way, red light = drained or faulty battery. Usually drained. Just charge for a moment. Some Xiaomi smartphones also won't let you turn them on until the battery voltage raises a little.
Zachary Walker
Gonna charge it for a few minute and see how much battery it has when i turn it on
Jack Bennett
How fucked am I gonna be by the upcoming chinese holiday? Just order that RN3p.
>end day with 100 more good boy points for doing fuckall Didn't spend a thing
Jeremiah Carter
You mean Good Goym points aka spend more, we will give you discount friend (:
Alexander Edwards
Hey, I was planning on spending more already.
Dominic Bennett
Pretty sure it will just be drained. What else, the low voltage red LED triggered.
You can however check if Windows or Android have cpu / battery / storage usage logs stored (or for Windows, open / set up such logging now).
Kayden Young
Plugged it in, red led blinking but not turning on.
Starting to panic
Adrian Taylor
Let it charge for some minutes.
If that doesn't work (it should) try long pressing power for hard reset ant then boot with power+vol up, charge there.
Adam Diaz
If the battery was fully drained it will take a short while to reach a power level that can boot the tablet.
Had this on a Moto G3 once. Battery was so drained that a red light came on, even though this phone supposedly has no notification led...
Wait 20 mins and try to boot again.
Nicholas Rivera
What they said. Even the PS Vita won't let you turn it on until it has charged sufficiently. A hell of a lot longer than you'd think, for that matter...
Isaiah Hill
mi pad 2 charges weird. It has to be on to charge so if it is completely drained you have to give it like 10 or 20 minutes before it will even indicate that it's charging. After that, you have to give it a wee bit more time and then you can boot it and play with it while it's charging.
run powercfg /batteryreport /output "c:\battery.html" and check the power log. If you have no idea what you're looking at, post it here.
Also, take it out of the case (if you have one) and make sure you don't charge it on your bed because they can overheat very easily while charging.
Landon Rivera
Ok, it boots now. But why would it go from 50% to 0% charge over night?
That's the dumbest image I've seen all day. Fuck off to already
Christian Perez
Yeah, that one looks more promising. It doesn't say if it's 64 bit or 32 bit though so double check.
Ubuntu doesn't work (without significant modification) on 32 bit UEFI.
Logan Rivera
Anyone here buy a reverse camera for their car? If so what would you recommend?
John Kelly
Did you literally take a bathroom solo cup and send it to them lel
Ayden Jones
How can I test if the battery is defective
Ian Adams
Bought a shirt from aliexpress. Quality is not bad for a chink shirt. Asian size L, equivalent to UK size S. Came with free pair of pop socks(?)
Brandon Gutierrez
So for the guys who bought multi meters, have they held up? I bought a cheap one years ago at Walmart and it was a piece of shit compared to my fluke.
Samuel Sanchez
see Also, if you charge it and shut it down but it still dies anyway, then it's defective. It should be pretty obvious.
Noah Phillips
What other daily carrying chinkshit will you recommend me guys? (for less than 5 bucks) i have some KZ headphones, a nomos watch and a jinhao already.
Matthew Jackson
Yep, dem Uni-T are very good.
But actually, even that $2 multimeter I got just 'cause I was interested was actually rather useful.
Not sure if it's safe if some huge voltage spike happened, but heh, we don't really have these here.
James Cruz
hey all. looking for a new case for my s7 edge. any good recommendations?, my budget is around 20$. so far i have looked at these two but im not to sure that the metal will protect it from drops:
(cont'd) My second Uni-T. This one is just in one of my tool boxes, it is more compact.
But it's still an auto-ranging one with decent features.
Aaron Garcia
And then the cheap one that I got for $2, I guess it's now mostly $3.
But that shit still works with all these features. Oh, the Uni-T are more precise and more comfortable to use (you know, with the display hold and all that), but this clearly wins in terms of value.
From context, I'd think you're not looking for this one, but who knows...
Justin Russell
jesus christ user you can remove everything after the .html and you can remove the title other than one character
>user is first to receive the Xiaomi VR headset, plans on reviewing it later
I bought the VR headset so I could check out what all the rage was. Overall, the headset is worth the money and way better than a Cardboard one, but Xiaomi could definitely improve someone things.
>Build Quality Most of the body is made up of a hard foam with the zipper, lenses and clasps made out of plastic. The button on top feels like metal. Very well built.
>Strap system A single piece, tri strap system. Uses Velcro to change the length of the straps, but the Velcro does not latch on very strong. Due to the way the strap pulls on the Velcro, they seem to stay in place properly. The strap system feels like it's only holding on to the top of your head and is about to slip off. Only really a problem if you violently shake your head around. Also, if you shake your head hard, the headset bounces around on your face; kinda uncomfortable because of the hard foam.
>Comfort The foam touching your face is hard but malleable-ish. It does not conform to your face, this means there are points of pressure applied to your face, rather than an even pressure achieved with soft foam. Xiaomi definitely should have put a soft foam on the part that touches your face. One advantage of the hard foam is that your headset can breath and keep cool.
>Experience So my phone is old(Galaxy S3) so I can see all the pixels. I tried playing "Wizard Arcade" but my eyes quickly started to hurt. I had to focus really close to see the screen properly which quickly gave me a headache. Maybe I'll get used to it over time. I can see outside the headset from the corner of my eyes. Another problem caused by the hard foam against your face. The button on top feels good and works well. It works by pushing a rubber thing which touches the screen of your phone.
I'll be here a while, ask me any questions you got.
Jordan Lopez
By the way, the Chinese did get data hold, backlit displays and a lot more on $5-10 multimeters, and these seem popular on ali now. More so than the well-known Uni-T.
But I haven't tested any of these yet. It kinda depends on whether it can also hold on the first measured value or only immediately and all that. They might perhaps be a very good deal.
Daniel Price
How do you connect a HDD to one of these chink boxes?
Nolan Cruz
USB?
You using 2.5" or 3.5"?
Chase Barnes
with an external enclosure
Oliver Nguyen
With one of these
Jayden Price
yes is SA, any recommendation under 5 for a knife?
Angel Long
Yeah I'm using the USB port, and it's a 2.5" 1TB in an enclosure...nothing is recognizing it, even though the light on the front of the HDD is on
Jeremiah Brooks
Ok,so I ran powercfg /batteryreport
Turns out it ran to 51%, and next to that it says Suspended(when I went to sleep).
So it had 51% when I turned it off.
This morning it would not turn on(red blinking light)... I charged it, apparently it was empty
Wyatt Foster
NAS (= WLAN or Ethernet port), USB.
Some also have eSATA.
Lucas Ramirez
Is the enclosure externally powered?
Xavier Bell
So what's the filesystem used? Ext4? NTFS?
Or did you use something silly like exFAT or HFS+?
David Nelson
yesterday I fell asleep and didn't reply to user at about using a boost converter to charge a laptop from a car battery. Maybe you're watching this thread as well. So here's the converter you'd need to pull it off s.aliexpress.com/ZZrYvua2 however adding a capacitor (another 1000uF one so it totals 2000uF) across the output is necessary. There will still be some high frequency spikes but your laptop's internal voltage regulators will deal with it. Add a charger plug suitable for your device and voila, laptop charger on the cheap.
Liam Roberts
PS: Not every Android has NTFS support enabled either, you only have a good chance of getting it but not a guarantee.
The "native" filesystems on Android are more like ext4 and FAT32.
Hudson Torres
It's not externally powered, but if the light is on I'm assuming it's getting enough power.
NTFS
It's a USB 3.0 HDD, it connects when I plug it into the USB ports on the back of my PC as opposed to my front ports.
Adam Green
What's the peak output of the step up ones? I wanna build my own power bank. Which ones would you recommend to step up from 3.7v to 5v?
Robert Cooper
> NTFS In general that should work, but I'm not gonna give a guarantee.
Try plugging it in and filesystem check it on Windows, cleanly unmount, and try again?
Get a root shell on Android to diagnose from the command line if it doesn't work, you can quickly find out if the drive wasn't recognized at all as a plugged in device or whether it was recognized and you can manually mount it or something. Basic Google or existing Linux knowledge provided, of course.
Caleb James
THat's gonna be difficult considering I'm retarded, but I appreciate the help. I'll try finding out the solution through YouTube
Isaac Sanders
> I wanna build my own power bank. > Which ones would you recommend to step up from 3.7v to 5v? Not same user, but i think Xiaomi just uses a TI BQ24195. Should be worth a consideration for this purpose.
Elijah Howard
Good old "dmesg" or cat /proc/kmesg should probably tell you whether the device was plugged in and recognized as usb attached disk just now.
And then you kinda just proceed to "mount -o umask=000 -t ntfs /thatdevice /somewhere" and see if that works and gives you an accessible device in /somewhere or hates you over missing NTFS support or whatever.
At least that's how I'd start. [It's not the only method to go about diagnosing this by any means.]
Gavin Morgan
I would, but the xiaomi isn't significantly more efficient when pushing out 2A. I saw reviews and it only gets the 93% efficiency at 500mAh, this was on the older 10400mAh model iirc though
Andrew Flores
What are you waiting on today son?
Asher Harris
Love you dad
I'm waiting on two classic memes, a Xiaomi power bank and a Ganzo knoife
Christopher Taylor
Oh em gee Dad, read the thread! I already posted it, you're embarrassing me!
I'm leaving.

I just made my first order from AliExpress. Jesus the seller was fast to respond. Got him to drop the shipping to free. Now to wait forever for the fuckin cheapo shipping to get here.
Jack Wood
Would it be fine if I upgraded my Xiaomi RN3P to the latest Android(7.0) or is it not compatible?
I'm asking because there's 5.0 on it and I feel like the jump to 7.0 would be great.
Isaac Lopez
Any ways to get quick good boy points? I've already reviewed everything with photos and videos. I need to get some points to buy an SSD, it's kind of urgent. I'll suck off a Gearbest employee if I have to.
Nathan Lee
These are not good.
There's plastic bracket under display that will twist over time and you're lose digits.
Henry Robinson
Don't Believe so. Best you could get right now is CM13 which is at Android 6.0 I believe.
MIUI 8 is at Android 5.1.1
Charles Martin
But user, if you put a seagate in it how are you going to know if the case killed the drive or if the drive just expired?
Ayden Richardson
Is there a official xiaomi site or at least a really reputable one?
Did you get a customer support ticket in which they're asking you to shill for them?
Check out your "My Tickets" page in your profile, you can get a cool 900GB points for doing positive reviews of GB on a couple of sites.
Also, generally you get points for interactions with customer support - if one of your orders arrives with a scratch, bump, dead pixel etc. you can mention this to them.
Usually they'll offer around 50GB points as a solution, since the item still does its job so you can't claim a full refund
Luke Murphy
Unlikely, and that's the cheapest price.
Jace Sanchez
What's better, /csg/
Spending your Ali coins on that 2-card game and getting a bunch of random coupons that you probably won't use
Or saving up your coins and using them to buy a coupon that you actually want.
Alexander Peterson
The latter.
Also how tense do you all get when your order doesn't advance automatically / ASAP?
Hudson Smith
even though it's rigged I end up with more coins on average playing the game
Christian Turner
i'm sorry but I don't understand.
Unlikely that there's a reputable enough site or that there's a high chance of getting screwed over because it's the cheapest price?
Landon Nelson
Geekbuying is a proven site for buying chinkshit.
I just brought from Aliexpress cause I couldn't fucked making a geekbuying account and without knowing the shipping time.
Nathaniel Miller
I believe there is a CM14 version for the RN3P available, but it's super experimental and half your stuff won't work.
Nathan Gomez
Is there a non 5.5 inch variant of the redmeme for tiny hands? Is it just the Xiaomi Redmi 3 pro?
For some reason there's only ugly ass gold versions of those
Redmi Note 3, but not the Redmi 3s. See the top of the thread.
Adrian Sanchez
It's for girl hands
Jose Scott
"girl" hands
Hudson King
Are there any cheap chink shit keyloggers?
Angel Scott
2 weeks ago i received my redmeme note 3 pro (3/32gb) and a pair of zircons, The zircons came from china, and took 2.5 weeks to arrive(I live in Italy), they sound great (kinda bassy, but I like it) and the included eartips are the best I have ever tried. The redmeme took 3 days to arrive since it was shipped from Europe ( I payed it 190 Yuros, instead of paying it 180 but having it shipped from China), the phone is great, it came with the global ROM and Google play already installed, it has a good design and feels kinda premium. Great performance (at least for now), the LTE works perfectly, battery life is good, the display is gorgeous and my favorite part is how customizable this phone is. I definitely recommend both the phone and the iems
Cooper Lewis
Which seller for the phone? Thanks
Luis Wood
Unless he was holding the phone right by his shoulder, not in front of, this image would be incorrect. The phone is closer to the mirror and his body is farther away making the comparison of phone to body incorrect.
Zachary Phillips
Don't forget he's standing on tip toes making the whole thing hard to judge, maybe he's got the practised toes of a ballerina giving an extra cm of height.

GB gave me tracking code 3 days ago and the code isn't recognized yet... How can i speed up things? They gave me the infamous RR....CZ shipping code
Bentley Bennett
Yeah, he's definitely still a manlet. I just think he's probably taller than 9 Samsung Galaxys
Samuel Cruz
Did you try it on 17track?
Austin Flores
If it doesn't start with R - it is untrackable.
Carson Thompson
Sometimes tracking simply doesn't work.
Benjamin Wright
Yep and it says >Item is not found at this moment, If necessary, please verify with the package sender and check back later.
Tracking takes up to a week to show up on 17track, just have patience and stop obsessing.

I bought one of the chink tablets on aliexpress and it;s DoA. Black screen and zero functionality.
How hard is it to get my refund? Seller seems to have pretty solid rep, I pick the highest rated ones
Kevin Martinez
What could this be?
Connor Ortiz
save your coins the game is shit.
Jeremiah Williams
Clue! It's orange
Brandon Morris
you cant, tracking is useless, and if you did not pay for it on GB it will not work, and even if you pay for it still mite not work

>step up from 3.7v to 5v I'd instead get that $2 box which holds 2x18650s and can regulate to 5V and charge the cells than bother with making one yourself, because you have to take into consideration that plain cells don't have protection/charging built in.

And now we wait.

forgot image 1 cent cross stitching set. didn't realize what it was when i ordered it
Not sure about this specific offer but there have been reports of cheap Razer mice being legit.
Hunter Sullivan
Take your meds before posting user. There are two questions, I asked if its worth it to upgrade from 7 to 8 AND how the 2g problem is caused, maybe the bug only appears on miui 8 or whatever. I want to upgrade my fine working OS because maybe the new OS will work finer, is that such a hard concept for you? I remember an user a couple of months ago that bought a deathadder and registered it in Razers site and everything, dunno if it was that one though.
Josiah Howard
Not him but you should kys for using MIUI in the first place when CM13 is perfectly functional AND a real upgrade. People on Cred Forums using stock roms makes me sick.
Nicholas Wright
Regarding the Razer mice: do they need the drivers to be functional? What features settings do the allow anyways? Im using Linux as my only system, so im just assuming there won't be drivers for me anyways.
Bentley Robinson
What the fuck is wrong with Miui? I swear to god I don't know how you fucking autismlords can function in the real world.
Brandon Adams
Please do, mine i got from DX.com was shit. D-pad feels bad and reaction by presing the buttons is off. It was good for arcade games but you get killed in 3d multiplayer games like racing or shooting.
Tried GTA with my usb gamepad and it was bad. left directional stick and look arround stick have weird speeds when you move them.
So please find a good chink one and share store.
Gabriel Morales
MIUI really isn't bad, I had no problems with it. I'm now using CM13 and prefer it but really, MIUI was pretty decent too.
Sebastian Lopez
>chink rom so likely to be funnelling everything back to Xiaomi/China >still stuck on Android 5 >Xiaomi only seems to add emojis with every update and doesn't care to truly upgrade anything >CM supports Android 6 >CM has greater features and performance than MIUI >CM at least pretends to respect more freedoms >closer to stock Android >you're on Cred Forums complaining about people being enthusiastic about controlling their own hardware
Seriously if you're a casual consumerist pig who doesn't like to root and modify your hardware with better alternatives then why the fuck are you on Cred Forums? Why are you on a board for enthusiasts of technology? Free buying advice because you can't make up your own mind about anything?
Ryder Ramirez
>chink rom so likely to be funnelling everything back to Xiaomi/China Blah
>still stuck on Android 5 6.0.1
>CM has greater features and performance than MIUI Not really. It has a smaller memory footprint.
> CM at least pretends to respect more freedoms Eh? Miui is open source. github.com/MiCode
> closer to stock Android Lel.
Jayden Thomas
Most of them do if you want to change dpi and shit, yeah. You can still use them, but I think they default to some retardedly high dpi setting. I got an abyssus for the physical switches to not have to deal with that. Ended up being a counterfeit so it was free. 450dpi setting is actually 1000ish, but otherwise it feels pretty identical to a genuine one.
Jace Gray
I bought some Lepin, just a cheap set to test the waters. I'm very happy with it, there's a few very minor foibles but otherwise aside from the fact that it doesn't have LEGO stamped on the little blorps you'd have a hard time telling it apart from genuine Lego. Once my paycheque comes in I'm going to get the Cafe Corner and anonymously mail a picture of it to the people at Lego with a note that says "fuck you shit niggers and all your thieving kikery" and then we'll see who is the cool winning guy.
Hunter Rodriguez
Bought some chinky lingerie, excited to see how they turn out, especially the nurse one, probably post pics of gf wearing the products, wait 2 months.

Possible. And the proof for that is where?
We need to try that it's one more thing than on other smartphones.

You don't even know what you are talking about, do you? I'm not stuck in android 5 you uninformed dumbass, also I'm not complaining about anyone doing what they please with their phone, I'm content with my phone and don't feel the need to go through the hassle of unlocking it and rooting it just for "greater features" whatever that means, I'm sure that CM is better but I just don't care enough. Again, I have no idea how do you fucking asperger can function in the real world, maybe you just don't.
I'm sorry I don't like to shit the thread but I just can handle this much autism, one guy telling me to kill myself for wanting to upgrade my OS and other telling me to kill myself for not wanting to upgrade to his prefered OS.
Elijah Brooks
I've owned several razer mice. They work fine with no drivers and they typically remember settings. Ideally, you could pirate windows in a VM and forward the USB device just to configure it or you can borrow a freind's pc or something. I've tried this with my naga epic chroma, deathadder 2013, and spectre.
Cooper Foster
>he doesn't immediately root every phone he owns and flash the cleanest rom possible free of chinkery and you have greater control over it >he really thinks the chinks at Xiaomi made miui to be good and not a flashy looking front for data collection to snare in retards >stock Android isn't desirable but upgrading your chink emojis is >his only arguments are "blah" "eh?" "lel" like a child >the real reason he won't stop using miui is he's lazy and defending it with logical backflips
is that way
CM13 officially released for Redmi 3 in late August and runs like a dream. Even the fingerprint scanner runs perfectly despite what the redditors on here think because of outdated reddit wikis they parrot on here talking about beta CM builds from early 2016.
Nolan Butler
halp guys. My 35€ order got stopped by customs (probably the idiot seller wrote the real value on the package, if it's over 22€ it gets stopped). Can I just claim I didn't receive my order and get a refund? Because I'd need to pay additional ~20€ (VAT + customs clearance service) to get my package.
Carson Hernandez
>Miui 8 global stable released today for 3 Aye, it's good
Anthony Sanchez
Where do you live where it gets stopped if it's over 22€?
Jose Torres
Redmi 3 ≠ Redmi 3s you absolute fucking retard. just stop posting before you embarrass yourself even further. Also the guy you replied to is not me, the reason I'm using Miui is that it does everything I want without fail
>his only arguments are "blah" "eh?" "lel" like a child
>Eh? Miui is open source. github.com/MiCode There is a fucking link after the Eh proving you wrong you drooling retard. I read in the Mi forums that at least one guy didn't have the connection problem before updating, so I will wait until that is solved just in case.
Owen Anderson
>rooting and unlocking your phone taking longer than half an hour >following 5 easy steps is a "hassle" >says he doesn't care how people use their phones while calling people who can follow 5 steps to root their phones aspies who can't function in society I think you need to realise that some people in the real world you keep talking about aren't terminally lazy and happy to use a Lego OS developed by the Chinese government. Some of us want the best out of our devices especially if it's trivial to get that.
If you can't handle this mild autism you might want to go back to pic related and talk to r/ChinesePhones about their amazing experience using Miui. Telling you to kill yourself over OS choices is top banter here.
Xavier Hernandez
What was the order?
Did they ask you for an invoice?
Adrian Rodriguez
>order ED7s from official store >get them in 11 days You should have picked a better headphone tee bee haitch
Asher White
somewhere in the eu probably. In my country you can get fucked by customs taxes for anything above 21€, but it varies from country to country.
Josiah Perry
The only Redmi I'm talking about is the Redmi Note Pro 3. Any of those other manlet devices I don't care about and neither should anybody else. Redmi Note Pro 3 CM13 is stable.
Y'know, with all this time you're wasting raging out on Cred Forums, you could have rooted your phone and installed a superior OS! Use that buttblasted energy for something more worthwhile.
Thomas Long
>order some bike parts from non-chink store
>receive them in 2 days
bewildering emotions t b h
I forgot life could be this way
Wyatt Robinson
3 pairs of pants. I have to provide invoice if I want the order to be cleared from customs but I really don't want to pay 20€ more
Evan Jackson
where are you? i ordered a cam to germany for 35, i hope they let it go through
Isaac Gomez
Eastern europe. I've ordered a phone and tablet before, went through customs without problems.
Michael Mitchell
>says he doesn't care how people use their phones while calling people who can follow 5 steps to root their phones aspies who can't function in society No buddy don't get it wrong, I'm calling you an autist because you probably has some form of autism. I'm more than okay with people ,rooting their phones and using custom ROMs, the one that seems to have a problem with me using the ROM I want is you.
>The only Redmi I'm talking about is the Redmi Note Pro 3. Any of those other manlet devices I don't care about and neither should anybody else >I'm talking out of my ass because I'm a idiot who doesn't know better, now that you called me out on my bullshit I will spout some memes about manlets and pretend I'm not retarded! Also I'm probably taller than you. >Y'know, with all this time you're wasting raging out on Cred Forums, you could have rooted your phone and installed a superior OS! Use that buttblasted energy for something more worthwhile. I will repeat myself again, I dont WANT to install CM
Dylan Ortiz
Enjoy your chink botnet
Samuel Martin
I recommend paying the 20 extra euros.
To claim it didn't arrive you'd have to wait an extra month or two. Might as well just pay for the trousers.
Carter Ross
Enjoy being clinically retarded and having no arguments anymore
Nathan Sullivan
Huh, didn't know they saved the settings on the mouse itself. Might as well try it now I guess.
If anyone wants to try other chink mice, I got a Rapoo 7100p for like 3 years now, it's decent but the mouse wheel broke after a year or two, as in it will scroll randomly when I touch it/try to use it. Though this has happened with other cheap mice before too. Maybe im just retarded and break the wheels after some use...
Jeremiah Fisher
> free of chinkery > muh China data collection So you are probably running Google's and other people's data kraken services and everything, but feeling smug about some racism. Good job.
> stock Android isn't desirable Yep. It is not.
> his only arguments are No. It's called a dismissive response to wrong/unfounded/fully subjective claims. You pull shit out of your ass with nothing to back it, I dismiss it equally quickly.
Michael Campbell
BG? Similar law was added here recently. If the order is traceable (it probably is) - you're mostly out of luck. Either pay the fee or return it and deal with the seller. They'll most likely blame you for not handling the customs and will refuse to refund you in full.
Robert Watson
Boy oh boy you sure are mad
I know more about chink shit than you, I've been lurking here longer than you, I understand phones more than you, I care about Cred Forums shit more than you, I understand all the reasons why CM is superior in every way to Miui and I don't need to ask a forum if upgrading Miui will solve a hardware problem like a brainless chump.
Keep calling people autistic for not wanting to play in a chink botnet, at least I didn't buy a phone for """"""vertically challenged""""" """""people""""" with hardware problems. I'm sure that Redmi 3s is really working out well for you!
Angel Diaz
How is CM superior to MIUI? CM looks like shit and is way less stable than MIUI
Jaxson Ramirez
Sorry but Xiaomi's data collection is well documented, I mean the Xiaomi Bicycle requires an app to run. A bicycle. And their air purifier which won't turn on if you remove the WiFi chip. And their lightbulbs which require total permissions on your phone to run (ask Unbiased Reviews). Being concerned about using a Xiaomi OS is justified if you've spent 5 minutes here, it isn't "racism" to point out they have WiFi enabled shoes. They're data collection incarnate and unlike Google they don't try to obscure it. Putting distance between you and Xiaomi is smart but clearly you know best sitting there content to have 10gb of data uploaded to their servers a day. You probably use Windows 10 too.
Landon Hernandez
Yeah, my naga definitely remembers settings and my spectre definitely did as well even when used on different computers windows or linux. I don't remember about the deathadder though because I never actually changed any settings other than disabling the lighting. If you reprogram buttons though, that's done through the driver so that won't stick.
Jordan Bailey
>I don't need to ask a forum if upgrading Miui will solve a hardware problem like a brainless chump. Holy fuck how dense are you I dont have any problem with my phone, there were 2 (two) separate questions. >At least I didn't buy a phone for """"""vertically challenged""""" """""people""""" with hardware problems. How tall are you champ?
Jacob Wood
Do the chinks have anything like this? Alternatively, do they have anything that I can buy to make use of the pc card slot on my old laptop?
Owen Perez
USB 3 has enough bandwidth, so it's possible. USB2 really doesn't, but USB Ethernet devices can establish a 1G link: your data will be bottlenecked, but theoretically can push more data than over a 100BaseT. So it will almost definitely function as a usable ethernet device. Whether it will be USB 2 or 3, and how it will perform, are up in the air.
Sebastian Wilson
>(Gray) more like (Gay) am i rite?

Anyone else here also constantly get logged out of aliexpress? It's really annoying
Easton Young
Lol, that's retarded. the color has no meaning in regards to rom. you'll get a chinky vendor rom either way. just flash the global rom via edl when you get it.
I got an 802.11n network card but it was slower than the built-in G card, I guess the bottleneck on PCMCIA is too tight
Hunter Morgan
Redmi 3s MIU 7.5.9.0 is based on Android 6.0.1 Last I checked IR blaster is not working on CM 13

Guy here who bought 10 chink TV boxes for 19€ ea during the banggood sale. Flipped my first one for 55€,will buy more if he likes it. But I guess not since it's too complicated for normies I guess.
So what fine chink goods should I buy with the profits?
Thomas Morris

For you to come back dad, mom's been drinking a lot since you left ;-;

some mice have internal memory. Razer have started to move away from this with their recent mice, which actually require a constant internet connection. Research before making a decision.
Ayden Bailey
The ones on Ali are all the 2013 model which has internal memory as far as I know. If you punch Deathadder csg into rebecca black archive you get a lot of decent reports.
Anthony Young
> I mean the Xiaomi Bicycle requires an app to run. A bicycle Never had one. You mean like other electric bikes require a key or their computer as drive-away protection?
> And their air purifier which won't turn on if you remove the WiFi chip Shit often won't work if you remove random parts or use it not as intended - news at 11!
> And their lightbulbs which require total permissions on your phone to run Certainly, it's a shitty app. Use your permission manager that you have on MIUI to limit it if you don't like it.
> They're data collection incarnate and unlike Google they don't try to obscure it. They collect data, but Google goes far, far further.
> but clearly you know best sitting there content to have 10gb of data uploaded to their servers a day I don't use the cloud backup on hundreds of daily selfies and videos - thanks.
> You probably use Windows 10 too. Yep. But I'm not playing make believe with Android (never mind one even laced with Google's services, Google's store, and apps from the Google store that report to Google and many others) either.
You can come back and cry about muh security and muh trust when you're running Linux or BSD on that. At least that should spare you from typical commercial advertiser data krakens offline data gathering.
Asher Adams
>thing is listed as awaiting delivery >seller sends me this message u wot

If there's a comic or other type of nerd convention in your area buy anime phone cases. You can buy them from the chinks for a couple dollars each and sell them for $10-$20 easily.
If you live in a college town, buy charging cables and resell those.
Brandon Brown
Bump limit reached, new thread here
Parker Harris
A couple of credit card multitools for you, an Xduoo X2 for mom and sunglasses for me. Also, I'm waiting for the chinks to respond to my message so I can buy that Sochi 2014 romhack for Famicom.
Angel Cox
>defending an air purifier requiring a WiFi chip to work and not reverting into being a common basic air purifier that sucks in dust without an app >"just limit the permissions for your Xiaomi device in your Xiaomi OS, it'll totally work believe me" >defending using Windows 10 >saying Jewgle is worse than chinks who don't even let you access most sites at all and arrest you if you try to shitpost Modern Cred Forums is absolute cancer, I mean we all buy chink goods here but come on. This is some ass backwards rationalism for giving away all your data and defending a shithole country like mainland China. "You can't avoid it so you might as well give in!"
Classic millennial defeatist garbage.
