People who actually prefer Windows
>he thinks people who's opinions are different from his are stupid
Uhh, user, you have some terrible issues.
Sounds like a liberal
>implying some opinions aren't better than others
>implying that gives them right to trample on others' feelings
It's 2016 for fuck's sake. Fucking primitives.
>tfw too intelligent for windows
yeah, your pic is like me lmaoing at your life.
Que fait risitas ici ?
Back to your safe space ultra cuck.
what's wrong with using quality software made by professionals who wake up early in the morning and work hard to make the world a better place to live? windows is made with passion and talent, linux is made by fat basement-dwelling neckbeards. i have shit to do and i don't have time to manually compile kernel lisp GUIs every day in order to have a barely working computer
>quality software
>windows
Enjoy your ancient spaghetti code
I think he is talking about software like Photoshop, Irfanview, Sony Vegas. Linux will never see software of this quality and even if that day will come, the users will reject them because "luuulz prorietary software nsa spying on me gtfo lel".
Windows is what happens when you outsource to PajeetSoft
this pic is just a bunch of fat autists not aware of the reality of 2016. we need Microsoft Windows 10 to have a stable world in which professionals can make a better world and Microsoft knows how to make the best out of its masterpiece (after all, William Gates is the richest man in the world thanks to his very hard work). such an amazing operating system needs well-optimized development tools as well as backwards compatibility in mind since it is the most widely used (for it is the best) one. the software engineers at Microsoft chose a tricky way because it is the best one to guarantee those qualities i have mentioned.
you're right but i was referring to Microsoft Windows 10 itself. even with Adobe software support, linux will never reach a thousandth of the quality delivered by the operating system of kings
I use Windows 10 too because I'm an amateur photographer and I had lots of trouble with every alternative on Linux. Microsoft Office is the industry standard and I learn it in school. The free as in freedom alternatives are either shit or buggy, can't really work with them. Microsoft may be a shit company and their OS is spyware but even if that is true, it works miles better than Linux and the software is gold (I love Irfanview and Faststone, you will never find software of this quality on Linux). If you are a programmer or casual user, Linux is fine. If you are not, it's really not for you. Nobody uses Linux in my area. Even if I enjoyed Linux in the summer, it's too much trouble now and I lose time working with LibreOffice and foss photography tools.
Yeah, we're just used to Windows and grew up with it.
Lots of my pirating related programs, like 3DS and PS3 tools, are Windows only too.
So what if I prefer Windows?
At least I am happy with my choice and unlike all the Linux users here, I don't need to spend 18 hours a day on obscure forums making sure other people know what I use and talking shit about everything I don't like and the people that use what I don't like.
I hope one day GNU/Linux users find happyness.
You don't need to spend 18 hours. I can set up Arch Linux in like a hour and half, I have shit internet. The real problem for me is the software : some may be okay but many are buggy, crashes like hell, can't handle intensive use or have just a few features. Windows saves me lots of time because the software is gold. Can't say that about free software on Linux. Another problem is the fragmentation : too many distros, many are shit. LTS versions have old software, bleeding edge have fresh software but can be unstable. I enjoyed Linhx in the summer but I don't have the time for it anymore. I'm glad it exists but the community is a cancer, hating each other over software, DE, distro. Windows has many problems too but Linux users don't see the problems of Linux. I use Windows 10 right now, switched from Arch, and I feel better knowing I don't have to deal with poor software anymore or fear about NSA hacking me.
>doesnt know OSX
good luck in your chosen field of photography kouhai
Man, I want one so much but it's really expensive for me :( I barely afforded a Nexus 5X this year.
I like running Windows on a vm
I like the idea of linux, but after years and years of Windows, I'm just used to how shit works. Want to install a program? Visit the website and download the .exe file. Execute it, follow the little guide, and now you can start the program by clicking the button in the bottom left corner. Just werks.
The funny thing is that even though you're trolling it isn't that far from the truth.
>we need Microsoft Windows 10 to have a stable world in which professionals can make a better world
Oh god I can't read further. My stomach hurts too much.
Have you checked and verified every single line?
No?
Then it's full of backdoors.
I was being serious.
>Uhh, user, you have some terrible issues.
You don't use windows for the OS itself.
You use it for the softwares.
Once these softwares have native linux versions, windows will have no reason to exist.
There are NO technical reasons to use windows.
>Once
How many years since it's been?
Or a conservative. Or basically anybody who brings politics into topics which aren't political.
>he bases his self-worth on operating system
autism
you're actually right.
what matter isn't the os, but the programs run on top of it.
personally i use unity3d for my final project, but recently (1 year ago) unity3d was ported to linux and i was happy
I'm using Windows 10 on my desktop at home since that's just what I'm used to but I'm thinking about switching to Linux and Hackintosh full time since I have a Macbook and I can just grab MacOS off that. MacOS has the aestethics of riced out Linux and the software compability of Windows, I can just run Windows in a VM if I need to run exe files.
