They cant track you only if you use some secure VPN or something, Germany is so cucked that they came after Retroshare users who didnt even actually have the file and only because he inadvertantly became a node between the users who were sharing the file illegally

They can track you if they have an account in the tracker. However this doesn't happen often, mostly because it's not worth going after relatively small private sites compared to public ones. Staff can weed out people doing this too by looking at the way the use the tracker.
Use a VPN if you want to be 100% safe though.
