Glasses are a sign of a physical defect, not of intelligence.
Unless you are the only one who will ever read your code, you cannot assume everyone else will understand what you wrote without proper commenting.
This isn't literature. Nobody is going to waste time trying to decipher the meaning of what you wrote.

>not writing self-documenting code

>Glasses are a sign of a physical defect, not of intelligence.
Wrong.

I agree with the rest of the post, though.

>tfw two intelligent to comment this thread.

>yes, I realize i fail by my own criteria.

>tfw too dumb to understand half of Cred Forums

>does correlation imply causation: the journal

my boyfriend wears glasses and has autism and does retarded shit constantly.

decides to clean the fans on the pc i built him

manages to force cpu out of the fucking slot and bend the pins.

shorts out a fucking gpu doing the same thing despite telling him a thousand times to ground himself.

>my code is self-documenting
>you should just understaaaand

>When will it end?
There are two possible ends:
a) When you kill yourself
b) When sentient AI takes over, improving the efficiency of everything and effectively rendering the human race useless in solving any problem

>blue waffles

If you use follow good naming conventions and have a comprehensive testing suite comments aren't quite as necessary.
