i was going to write this in python3 but i fucking hate OOP because it usually goes against how the program should actually be designed. the first thing i did when rewriting this in C was to make safer dynamic string and array types so i don't have to worry as much about NUL in strings, overflows, et cetera as long as i use the functions i created. thanks for the luck; i really have high hopes for what i'm doing and hopefully i can overcome my laziness lol
