Met one in subway one day, the chief of the family was a bit on tense. His visage was reflecting some sort of apprehension when he asked for his way onto this labyrinthine underground. As if he was expecting to be fully rejected. He was so conditionned that he refused to be directly escorted to his destination. Its refusal made me lose a bit of my temper and exasperation was immediately shown. It is probable that we ended up both thinking our people were dysfunctional.

I work on a golf course as a caddy and British tourists can be iffy. It really depends on the age and social standing of the Brit. Usually middle aged Brits are friendly and reserved. Younger Brits usually are louder and obnoxious. They literally act like the stereotypical "lads from the pub". They are really competitive and tend to get drunk through out the 18 holes. Older retired Brits are friendly enough, and really only use you for driving the golf cart around, never asking for tips on which clubs to use or where the hole is. They always like to remind me "You know we invented golf, right?"
