There's a few larger tribes are on the west coast but tend to keep to themselves and tend to be poorer. The Wisconsin town is the anomaly.

There's also Eskimos in Alaska and Native Hawaiians, both of which are grouped differently from other natives. Eskimos tend to be just fine by themselves as they've always been as no one wants to live where they live anyways, but they're not exactly well off but it's their life style.

Native Hawaiians are poorer than non Natives, but I think tend to be respected.

Most people don't know anything about Natives and what goes on in their lives though, because their groups tend to be so small or they keep to themselves.

Most North American natives are a relatively homogeneous group, ethnically usually only varying by how dark their skin is, so it makes sense they look alike. Eskimos are the exception
