What are the pros of learning Russian?

What are the pros of learning Russian?

I don't give a fuck about Pushkin and Tolstoy.

And I don't give a fuck about Russian women since you can hire them for €30 an hour (money speaks by itself).

Do you think it's going to be an useful language in the future?

I already know the most common 5000 words but I have no motivation to keep going.

Most useful language going forward is Chinese, irrespective of the success that America has containing China.

No

better learn arab or mandarin instead if you want a useful language in the future

What no?

If you aren't going to live in ex-USSR countries, and you not interested about what is going on here, so it won't be useful.
If you just want to learn some slavic language, better learn polish.

it sounds cool

> better learn polish.
lmfao

yeah, that's it though

Total bullshit, Chinese will never be relevant

why are you so underaged luigi
fuck off

Spanish, another language I've learned and NEVER use.
Ave English.

Well memed.
1. I am not underaged.
2. I'm not even Italian.

who the fuck else would learn hard and useless language just for cheap eastern european whores if not underage person.

22 years old NEET, genius?

>I don't give a fuck about Pushkin and Tolstoy.
>And I don't give a fuck about Russian women
The only thing that comes to mind is Russian-related business, when your language would be actually useful.
Or you can shitpost on Russian 2ch.

i start to learn to russia just for fun, i don"t plan to go there or get women but i like the sound and i'm bored with my life so.

Master your English first, romance-bro.

>What are the pros of learning Russian?
Literally none.

no

yeah maybe you're right, i speak better than i write 2bh. I can read basic book or have a normal conversation with american/english tourist

Second popular language on the internet after english.
If you are interested in russian language media content - learn it. If not - don't.
Pretty simple. Just like with any other language.

I can read basic book or have a normal conversation with american/english tourist

a basic book
an american

You should start using English for everything. My English improved dramatically when I changed my phone language to English, started reading books in English only (one book a week) and generally stopped using Italian altogether.

I don't know what to look for though.

Reading books I would have otherwise have read in English in Russian seems very impractical and pointless.

I sometimes watch Чeбypaшкa but I get bored after I while.

I learned polish and russian in university because they told me both countries are the future and german companies will invest there.
got rused hard.

Why didn't you invest in Eastern Poland?

Italian is useless.

I wouldn't mind trading my Italian skills for your Russian skills.

it's useful for me

t. great great great grandson of italian diaspora

Italian is like Portuguese.
Nah, Portuguese is better because the women (and trans) are better.

>You should start using English for everything

i also watch tv show and movie in english without sub and it helps me a lot. I still do mistake like you point to me but french is so vast, it take almost all my effort of reading. I start russian just for fun like i said, i'm not really serious at the moment, maybe in the future.

>Italian is useless.
>I wouldn't mind trading my Italian skills for your Russian skills.

italian is beautiful. If you're looking only for an useful languague, english is more than enough

che stai usando per imparare il russo?

Memrise, top 10000 words, Duolingo and film e canzoni russe.
I corsi sono in inglese pero'.

i hoped you had something italian -> russian Simone

Non c'è veramente un cazzo da fare, non ci si caga nessuno a noi con l'italiano

So every fucking language is useless for you. Speak English and stop shitposting.

L'italiano e' una lingua inutile fratello.
Me lo sto dimenticando, guarda.

>Do you think it's going to be an useful language in the future?
haha
hahahahahahaha
ahahahahahahhaaha

no

ebi si maikata pedal

You too OP, Italians are gypsies and not white, WW2 proved it conclusively

Anyway Russian is pretty useful, the Russian internet is a magical place and a whole new world, and it can be useful in Business too.

>I already know the most common 5000 words

Then you already know the language, don't you? I'm pretty sure you can understand pretty much 95% of what is written on the internet with the top 5000 words.

>What are the pros of learning Russian?

There are none.

>Do you think it's going to be an useful language in the future?

Not more useful than Ukrainian, Kazakh or Estonian.

The average word length is 5.28 characters.

5000 most frequent lemmas cover 82.0604% of word forms in texts.

I understand pretty much everything and use google translate for words I don't understand.

Fact is, the grammar is hard as balls and I can't speak better than a four year old.

I speak Polish and as important as it is to me, I have absolutely no idea why a foreigner would want to learn Polish, unless they are from a neighbouring country.

Russian culture - books, songs and so on really good, russian internet very pleasure thing.
Russian population goes down, but anyway on russian speaks all persons in another countries, which was in USSR - big part of the world.

Russian is a fun language if you want something completely opposite of english. I don't think it's going to have any international value unless God Putin conquers western Yurop

Do you know 5000 roots, or 5000 words and all their possible cases?
Just knowing the word Cyкa won't do, you gotta know cyкe, cyки, cyкoй, cyкy, cyкaми, cyкaм, cyчapa, cyкaн, cyчкa, cyчий, cyчeнoк, cyчeчкa, cyчeнькa the list goes on
