Do you feel cosy in your city?

Do you feel cosy in your city?

Do you like to live there and plan to stay?

this is a desert

A little bit but my neighbourhood is being colonized by Australians and New Zealanders. I'm a bit scared.

Is Canada a better place to live so they come to you? Or do they run from the chineese colonization?

>Is Canada a better place to live so they come to you? Or do they run from the chineese colonization?
It's white Australians and New Zealanders who move here. I'm guessing it's for a change of scenery, but I'm not sure.

...

It's ok

Interesting.

For a New Zealander it's a upgrate but for a Australian it's a change from warm to cold.

cosy

image for ants

Yes.

Is this one of those american towns where highschool american football players are local heroes?

Pretty comfy yeah

...

A place with no real winter can never be truly cosy 2bh.

t. live in warm climate

Nice.

My town is cute

where u at senpai
im at cowan heights, upthe hill from the village t b h

D-do you have cosy fish bars that smell like seaweed, with fresh fish just out of the sea and baked how you like it? :3

I'm living in Warsaw for a while. It's nice and comfy, but a bit Soviet. I've been living in Ukraine for almost 17 years, and Warsaw better then any ukrainian city. Am I planing to stay here? No, Poles have very restrictive immigrational policy, so I'll try to move in Canada a bit l8r.

It's true. Snow gives cities +10 to cosiness.

I'm more than sure you got some polish great grandparent, that should get you some papers for permanent stay.

Down in the Waterford valley. Lots of comfy old houses down here.

Yes

>Grenoble
yeah, I'd live here for the rest of my life
it's not too big, not too small,
people are OK, no tourists (they go up in the mountains)
university, hospitals, bicycle lanes, trams etc.
lots of out door activity, summer or winter
city center is ugly though
1 hr to Lyon or 1.5 hr to Geneva if you want anything you can't find in the city.
3 hr to Paris and Marseille, 4 hr to Milan

I can smell the burned oil and spilled beer from here :3

wew, im like a 5 minute drive from you (near the top of hamlyn road)
just moved here a month or so ago for schooling, CONA is preddy ogey (Especially for that 960/semester tuition)

No, my grandparents were Russian, Jewish and Saami, I checked it, I have no Polish relatives, because I'm from the East. So there's no relief for me in that issue.

Fuck this country.

From what I know PiS is planning to allow a permanent stay for all the people from East + viets within a year or two.

They said in Krynica that they will give out permanent stay to one million up to 2020 so there's that. I'm not shilling, just thinking that for you, right now, Poland is probably home.

24 hours after it snows it reaches critical comfy levels here.
Then the snow melts and we go back to just nice-ish

There are nice parts.

What's the big building on the left?

A castle leftovers? Looks like some XVIII century one.

oh man, I'm sure you got better images

You a mainlander or a townie? Either way I'm not hooking up with you so don't even ask faggot

most australians hate the fucking heat, you only really appreciate it when you live somewhere it snows

I live in Durango, a mid-size city in the middle of the desert

No. It's not that small; there's 50,000 people, three high schools, and two universities here.

And a river.

>most australians hate the fucking heat
I can understand that.

I nearly felt like dying in Egypt or Morocco.

Can't imagine living and working at such a hot place.

Here I got a comfy 2 C in the morning and 14 in the day right now. Good temperature for work and walking around.

mainlander, mom's from grand bank (south of marystown) and dad's from st john's, they fucked off due to the job scare in the 90's
>Either way I'm not hooking up with you so don't even ask faggot
wew, no thanks, im not exactly inclined to hunt for friends on Cred Forums
so far i love the city, but i guess ill have a better feel once winter comes along
got any based parts of the city you'd care to share? lookin for shit to do before the weather gets too shit

my city is a fucking shithole and I'm trapped here

Winters in SJ are what separates the men from the boys. There's no way to prepare you for it. Its not as bitterly cold as the mainland, but the snow, rain, and wind will put some hair on your chest.

What kind of stuff are you into? I love SJ but the really fun stuff happens outside the city if you're into the outdoors

im ok with outdoors stuff like hiking and some nature stuff
i got those gorgeous rolling hills staring me in the face every time i step outside so ive been waiting for a good chance to go hiking t b h
here's a comfy pic i took after walking up signal hill

Nice. I do the signal hill trail 3-4 times a week. Never get sick of it. If you like hiking just pick a section of the East Coast trail, there's plenty of it. My favourite trails are elsewhere on the island though.

You could go kayaking down in Witless Bay but it's too late for icebergs.

feels like home desu

yes.

Yes, but it always rains which is not always comfy..

My grandfather used to says:
>"You don't like it? Than fuck off to Spitsbergen"
as the region was a meme when he was young, it was the unreachable, cold part of Europe back than.

*my grandfather says

Irkutsk

Your grandfather was Norwegian? Spitsbergen is a different animal from Bergen, though.

Feel cozy in my hood, hate city centre which is crowded and full of old buildings.
t. Moscow, Yasenevo neighborhood

Ex-mafia city, it's fucking shit

I know but the city name reminded me.

And he's Lithuanian Polish not Norwegian. Spitsbergen seemed to be a 1930-1940ties kind of meme when he was young.

I love it. I fully intend to travel the whole world, but allways plan to return home to my beautiful town on the sunny side of alps.

pls adopt
t. Eastern Polander

Why? Aren't they nationalist party?
Yasenevo is comfy

I feel comfy in my apartment and nearby area, especially as it gets colder and darker. so, autumn and winter, after sun goes down = perfect. night time - my time.

>I'm living in Warsaw for a while. It's nice and comfy, but a bit Soviet
my butifel city

And Moscow centre is like that. Shitload of cars, hobos, old low buildings etc. I don't like it.

No. They're a national socialist party that plans do allowe 1 million of ukrainians, belarusians and vietnamese get a pernament stay until 2020 and 5 million until 2040.

nice digits
>allowe 1 million of ukrainians, belarusians and vietnamese get a pernament stay until 2020 and 5 million until 2040.
better than muslims

What's the point for nationalist party to invite cockhole immigrants? Is it because all the skilled poles have moved to the Western Europe?

>better than muslims
I know.

And I always repeat it to people that whine that it always could be potential terrorists.

>skilled
we need toilet cleaners

Skilled Poles didn't have to move to Western Europe.

It's mostly the unskilled one that moved because they could earn 2-3 times more there for the same job.

That's why, sadly, we need immigrants - because we have a lot of open jobs for construction workers etc.

Just come live here poland bro. We both EU. And it's pretty cheap. We go hiking here.

Slovenia may be the best country in the world with landscapes. To be able to ski the alps and be on the beach the same day is perfect.

Ok I'm packing, my eastern town is depressing as fuck, almost Russia/10

Where do you live?

Wołomin

2bh I see no excuses to have EU citizenship and not living in Britain.

Can't you move to a bigger city? Like some province capital?

Shit weather, shit food, they hate us.

This sounds like Germany accepting Austrian immigrants. In the grand scheme of things, it does not seem catastrophic.

I got a job here, I'm trying to develop myself to earn even more, I got a nice apartment near a lake, family, friends, I love the region.

There's no excuses, just facts.

I'd leave only if I was forced out.

Part of my family is from Warsaw, I will move there when they will leave me an apartment (renting is costly)

>2bh I see no excuses to have EU citizenship and not living in Britain.

Britain is mostly a drab shithole. You're probably thinking of the nice parts where Russian oligarchs live.

>Do you feel cosy in your city?
I never feel unsafe, even if I did get stabbed in July. I know a few good people here.
>Do you like to live there and plan to stay?
The natural stuff like the beaches and bushland are awesome, but the nightlife is fucking rubbish. I'm leaning towards a new uni in a new city next year. I don'tknow if I'll move back.

Also done a few years in and around Sydney. Glad I did before Mike Baird turned the whole joint into a hillsong church

Well that's a big progress, Warsaw is full of work opportunities and can be nice at times. Good luck.

Thank you

tell me the stabby story

Nah, I'll get called a blogposting fag.

Tl;dr loved a borderline personality girl, lots of problems. Sleeping in my car one night after a fight, some junkie checking doors in the street put a knife under my ribs and took my shit.

Maximum comfy from a different angle.

What kid of jobs do people do there?

Looks like a tourist/farmer place.

No

I live in suburbia, it's just tract homes and chain restaurants with a big highway going through.

Everything from computer stuff (programming and web developement) - BitStamp has headquarters in the town, to working in a factory. Honestly there is work if you want it. And of course there is Ljubljana (capital) only 25 Km from us, so there are lots of jobs there.

can we live comfortly with 1000€ a month ?
assuming I'm retired and already have money to buy a house.
(what does it cost for a house with garden of 1000 sq.m. for example, in your town)

Moscow is a hard place and you won't survive here, cucks (except slavs).

Do you have roaches there?

Or bedbugs(oшибки?).

A russian woman I know said there's quite a lot of them in Moscow and Petersburg.

Why are Russians proud in saying their country is miserable to live in and no one would want to do it?

It doesn't exactly inspire respect admiration.

There is no roaches in CIS, they have extincted due to mobile phones.
Because it's the reason for us to be proud for surviving here.
Lolno, cockholes and poles have been genociding each other for ages, and Eastern cockholes are just the Russians in denial, they are far from polish culture. Also Vietnamese are obviously not poles too.

Grodno, Belarus.
>Do you feel cosy in your city?
>Do you like to live there?
Yes, here is pretty good.
>Plan to stay?
No.

>they have extincted due to mobile phones
wat

Yea, most people make it with 1k/month + they have rent to pay, so if you already own a place it could be comfy..

Regardsing the realestate.. it depends. A house like that in Slovenia can cost you anywhere from 400k to below 100k or even 50k if you go live in the eastern rural parts (goričko, prekmurje, etc). So it depends. In Kranj expect it for 200k

Mobile communication networks, you know. Antennas, wi-fi. All that radiation has killed roaches in Russia.

Interesting.

I didn't know it works like that.

I wonder what influence it has on humans if it kills nearly unkillable bugs.

In my rented apartment a lot of cockroaches, 3 mobile phone and wi-fi router. Neighbors drunks do not take out garbage.

NASZE

Call the police? City guard?

>Call the police? City guard?
>call when you get killed, do not interfere with work!

nie tak wazne.

>I called the police on my neighbours every time it was even a bit loud
>It's all quiet now

So you're one of those dickheads huh.

Hey listen. I'm not the one breaking the law here.

I'm the one who obeys it and I demand that everyone else does the same thing.

I'm a little afraid of the police. They can throw drugs or arrest if like a robber. Beat you so that you confessed to robbing granny. Better not to contact with the Russian police.

I always chat with them about how shitty my neighbours are(I of course exaggerate) and than we nod our heads about "this kind of people" and than the police man/woman asks me if they should give them a 300 or 400 zlotys ticker or maybe let them off the hook with a warning.

Well at least I used to, I thank God for every day of silence ringing in my ears.

Good police work!

muh city

Here, have a picture i screencapped from some lads who do 360 fro ma drone.

I want to leave.
The only redeeming quality is that the city is in full Jules Verne mode.

literally looks like Danzig

and people say our towns are german

>my neighbourhood is being colonized by Australians and New Zealanders

That looks comfy as fuck.

Nope. Just another hipster city with shit architecture. Wish I was a real estate developer could make it not shit.

It looks nothing like Gdansk. And Gdansk was inspired by Dutch architecture and Dutch/Flemish architects were involved in building the original buildings.

Polish cities are quite comfy.

And the drone thing is awesome beause it's a 360 from which you can take screencaps.

>America ever having good architecture

kek, it will be parking lots and track sprawl till the end of time.

whoa really made me think

Thank god someone hasn't bought the modernism meme.

You know nothing about your country.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthonis_van_Obbergen

New England looks great and we still had some great buildings being put up into the 50s. We just need a culture that has standards again.

It's not comfy at all and has become infested, but it's the only city in this country I can actually live in (I detest cold), and so I'm stuck here until I can get American Citizenship, or someone shows me a better country.

The 20th century was a mistake.

Utopian delusions of some space age wonder city.

Just throw out centuries of Architecture building concepts that will work out fine.

i don't live in a city

Comfy AF but tiny

Will probs move back after uni

Lol this guy

Moscow is for pussies. Come to real slavland and try to survive

What do you do there?

Yeah, I really like the city. It's a cozy place with a lot of history, not too big and not too small. Great location too, a stone's throw from Czechia and Germany.

As for staying, fuck no. I'm tired of the country overall and would gladly move abroad, if only to change the scenery for a couple years.

How do people live in cities? I dont get it

How do people live in the countryside?
It's fun for a couple relaxed weeks but I soon start to miss the noise and bustle.

Bad, 2bh

I think cities are ok for a short visit to laugh at the people who have to live there

yes
comfy

Yeah
Yes

a little bit to small for a city but max comfy 2bh

Čakovec was also home to one of the greatest general ever, NIkola Šubić Zrinski

look this up: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Szigetvár

those pics don't show much tbqh

>Adelaide
>No
I live in the suburbs in bumfuck nowhere, but I hated the city even when I lived in it. Pretty much anywhere would be an improvement.

ballarat?

Cosy but the gree windows just ruin it all. My autism can't stand them.

Is it true that they had schools from radio in Australia? I mean like classes for kids living in the countryside that can't go to school because of distances.

Is that average size of a family home in the US ?

Yes. I actually went to one briefly. But when I came to university the gov paid me money to relocate closer to civilisation.

better?

Woah.

Could you please elaborate? How do classes look like? Or tests?

No, I live in Baltimore.

I live my group of friends, but I don't plan to stay.

...

Nah

There are too many Jews here, and I get the feeling it is turning into liberal hell

Maybe I will move to some small place in the west USA where everyone is white and conservative

Oh, Coronado Island. Takes me back. Getting shit faced at The Little Club at 7am.

There was nothing to look at, we just had conference calls over the phone with 5 or so other students in a class. Tests were mailed home and you mail them back when you were done.

My city's shit but I like it

Small town, there isn't much but it's alright

kek, true
Countryside ftw.
To really enjoy living in a town you have to earn above average to afford apartment in a non shitty part of the town. Most of the people only pass all these cool restaurants in representative parts of the town because they are too expensive for them so they visit them twice a year. They never go to theater, only go to shitty cinema in mall located in suburbs where it takes me the same time to get there as them in stink bus.
Also they have to hide a fucking can of a beer when they sit in parks full of hobos.

I know it's stupid(you want to learn and all) but didn't people cheat on tests?

We weren't cheating asians, so no. Besides they were more like long term assignments and things than multiple choice tests you can cheat on.
