Also, quaint as Lisbon may seem compared to other capitals, it's way too noisy and less peaceful than most of our towns. And we generally like quietness on our daily lives. People are also a bit less nice in my experience, but that comes with being a large city.

The metro is great, though.

Went to Lisbon once.

It was like a dirtier Spain that had twice the smokers. Not bad though.

Funny thing though, I really love bossa nova music, and I ended up chilling by the bay where they had some guy from Brazil come in to play it. Totally made my night.
