Description:
"Bummer jams about a loved one's alcoholism and attempted suicides."
- First Thought Worst Thought

First Thought Worst Thought's Buried in the Bed is a blur. In a metaphorical sense. The blend of shoegazey folk and hazy, blunted lyricism, filtered through a lens that borders between consciousness and drunkenness, gives the listener both a feeling of rest and restlessness. In that, there comes the beautiful blur.

Now available for stream and download!

Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give First Thought Worst Thought some love. Thank You. :)

Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

I have a couple of other questions too.
1. Is there any rapper in these threads who would like to collaborate on an upcoming project?
2. Who would like to help get involved and donate some money for a school fundraiser of mine?

I'm not trying to shit on you guys, believe me, but I really want to ask specifically you two, but also in general in this thread: People that make weird music that has very little broad appeal: Why? Is it your greatest passion? Is this the kind of music you listen to day in and day out?
I think your music is not bad, honestly I kinda like it, but it's so outside of the norm and I'm always fascinated by artists' intentions.

fuguosss.bandcamp.com/releases

Noise by an insane person.

landermusic.bandcamp.com

I like the Kleptomancer stuff. I guess my stuff (fuguosss.bandcamp.com/releases) counts as strange, too. Speaking for myself, weird is fun. Making weird sounds is way more interesting to me than making money, but making money certainly isn't bad. It's just not the focus. A lot of extra effort goes into production to polish things, and that can usually take a weird sounding song and make it less weird with enough time and skill. The polishing isn't the part that is the most fun, though, and you definitely lose some artistic edge the more you polish.

These threads are quite slow recently, aren't they?

It's 6 in the morning, what did you expect?

People from the other parts of the world contributing ofc. By slow I also meant the lack of feedback and such. Speaking of which...

This sounds like a banger. Wouldn't call it experimental by any means but it's a nice short release which feels coherent and interesting.

Had a listen some time ago. Literally "Kids don't do drugs" music. For what it is it's not all that great but giving the circumstances it's really, um, weird. And that's the most important, I suppose.

Make this stuff cleaner and you have yourself an awesome minimalistic techno piece of work! Great job on that one!

you guys are so good that makes me want to quit

Im the "experimental electronic" guy. Thanks a lot for the kind words, really appreciated.
I labeled it as experimental as this project was something new and unconventional for me and I didn't know what else to call it

Don't be like that. Join the two-man party with me!

Ah, no problem. Cheers!

The audio in these recordings attempts to capture and recreate the average Saturday morning for the elusive Seldomo. At dawn, a bird softly pulls its spirit from the depths of its dreams, and brings its consciousness back to its immediate surroundings. Seldomo picks up his feet and stumbles to the nearest bodega, where he contemplates capitalism while enjoying reasonably priced consumer goods. On the walk home, he passes a chapel, well kept and cleanly. Surrounding the steps are homeless people, all with signs explaining how they got there, through various strikes of misfortune. Walking on, the realities of life start to hit Seldomo as he walks beneath the rattling tracks of the subway. When he finally reaches home, however, he is greeted by his love and all is well.
