honestly Cred Forums has awful taste in music.
The best music is late 80s/early 90's alternative rock and grunge, such as Gin Blossoms, Pearl Jam, and REM. Later on the Foo Fighters would surpass Nirvana because Nirvana is overrated and failed to be as good as Pearl Jam in the first place. Matchbox 20 only ever had 1 (ONE) good album but that first album of theirs is one of the best ones of its entire decade.
Other preceding rock bands are cool, such as Kansas whom are top tier, but most old school rock music is nothing but a meme. ACDC, Guns and Roses, Queen, all grating on the ears. Beatles deserve respect as pioneers of the genre and Journey is okay but too repetitive to listen to continually.
Shitty postmodern bands like Linkin Park, Green Day, Three Days Grace, All American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, none of them need apply because it's all hot garbage.
Classic/folk country such as Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash, and Charlie Daniels is the only real form of country and hating country as a genre is a meme because people only know the modern mainstream BEER TRUCK TRACTORS GIRL tripe.
