Kid A

>first listen
>wtf?
>second listen, focusing on the drums
>holy shit

This as well.

I just wasn't in the right mood or something when I first listened to this, then at one point during Frontier Psychiatrist it all fell into place

took me a solid 7 listens before this one finally clicked

How? I listened to this when I was a newfag and loved it on my 2nd listen

Thought it was pretty standard at first but I soon realised that it's the best and most imaginative Stones album and completelt shits on Sgt Pepper

good for you, and I don't know

These albums were great on first listen.

I agree

Garb

...

true, and nice dubdubs

it's one of my top 5 now

why do you like it?

because it's good

I seriously didn't get the appeal at first. Must be a Seinfeld effect sort of thing

same here m8

Entry level bullshit the thread

then post something better

i liked it okay at first thought it was incredibly overrated for the longest time. then i just happen to listen to it on a whim and now it's in my top ten

Why is it good? I never got what was so great about the lyricism on the album. seems pretentious to me desu

oh

Nah I stopped posting here years ago

I just came to laugh at you

sounds exciting

Everything by Radiohead

I liked it on first lesson

...

Whatever you passive aggressive faggot

what's your favorite band

my chemical romance

oh that's cool, I'm not a huge fan of death metal but Helena is a good song

...

I really liked black parade, it was a little experimental for most fans but I like weird : )

>first listen
what the fuck is aumgn
>fourth listen
holy shit aumgn

Just found that album, blew my mind honestly.
It just sounds so pretty and sweet.

I agree that it shits on Sgt Pepper but not the rest

It's my favorite ever, probably the most flawless and unflinching atmosphere ever put to record. So perfectly constructed it blows my mind. I occasionally speak to the band on facebook. They are still working on new stuff, they've been at it for quite a while too. I'm excited.

Portishead - Dummy

I like it because it has beautiful melodies and the songwriting is like proto-Velvet Underground. I don't see how lyricism can be pretentious. I think it adds another dimension to the music in some cases. I also think his voice sounds really cool (probably because I love lou reed's voice)

My thoughts exactly, if I imagine the perfect sound, that album would be it.
