Description:
"An EP I made."
-AP Macroeconomics
With a name like AP Macroeconomics, you would expect something completely horrible or completely funny. Even some of the song titles would seem like jokes. But behind the oddity of a name, Thomas Meskil presents the listener something totally opposite. Mumbling guitars, cohesively cluttered percussion, somber soaked vocals, humble, like a hug from a wise, old friend. Compatible with lyrics that feel both personal to the man behind the name and universal to all who listen, AP Macroeconomics is definitely a musician to keep your eye on.
Now available for stream and download! CDs available at AP Macroeconomic's bandcamp as well!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Thomas some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

Spending a lot of time in the studio these days preparing the new LP. Also just got a new (much better) bass guitar, which is exciting because it gives us more freedom in that department.
always
Listened to this in the last thread. I can dig it.Solid Production, and it fills out the atmosphere for a nice trip or gathering, but unfortunately nothing jumps out within your sound. the instrumentals are relatively consistent throughout which makes everything sound 1 dimensional in my opinion. But thats a nitpick i have with 99% of shoegaze dreampop groups, so dont take it personally. and that chord progression you use in "Dont Let This Be" is so painfully overused it makes me cringe every time i hear it. However your rendition is pretty easy to listen to so props. Overall would rec.
I'm into this, theres some actual creativity in here. theres a ways to go still, in terms of your mixing (Getting your sounds clearer) but aside from that theres some new sounds which intrigue me here which is what audio art is all about. looking forward to seeing what else you guys can do.

Love these, but how do I into critique electronic music. Great melodies in both. Great dynamic range and mixing with NITE RIDE. Detik is a real trip if you're into glitch.
