You have to listen to the whole thing to get the full feeling of the song.
i quite like the drone and the synth or whatever that high pitched sound was, but the vocals were ridiculous, kinda ruined it.
As a Seinfeld fanatic, i've probably already heard 10 hours worth.
fun
also kind of lame, immature - kids and stuff
6/10 for what it's worth
also it's short which is good
Swing to the mushroom jazz
eh
typical white rapper
at least he isn't trying to hard to sound black like a lot of them do
corny song tho
true statements
if you want a non-typical white rapper, check out Weerd Science. some of the best rap around these days
this isn't jazz at all really, just saying
pretty good groove, i like it
clever lyrics, except the mushroom jazz part which is unfortunately the chorus.
i like that weird mechanical sounding instrument's solo
7/10
shit man I gotta say I'm really disappointed. I saw Upgrade and was hoping for the rapper, not techno shit lol. For what it is it's not bad, but it's not great either.
i really like El-P, Yung Lean, and Slug Christ
very nice
i love the minimal production, not just that there's no instrumentation but there her voice has not been tampered with greatly.
very emotive even with such a basic melody.
i loved it 8/10
>not 10/10
yeah that's upgrayedd

I can't stop listening to this for some reason, hope you enjoy it senpai
maybe 9/10
but i my personal preference is "edgy" and "killa" because i'm afraid of my emotions so i can't give the 10
oops
see
7/10 pretty nice not my thing tho
Fifa song
pretty boring
i suppose the melodic progression is nice but nothing special.
final loud part had great energy though so ill give it a 5.5/10
ha i nevr new
too poppy for me but that bassline is great
it definitely sounds like it would fit into the fifa sountrack
I'm not the biggest fan of AJJ, but I don't hate them like some others do. I'm not a huge fan of the vocal delivery, though I'll admit it's emotive. The instrumentation would be boring, but it;'s carried by the banjo, and I love banjo, so that's good. I didn't like the lyrics very much though. I like that the song doesn't overstay it's welcome, because if the song went on in the same way with the same structure it would have dragged. I'm not huge on abrupt endings, but it might be a transition to the next song, I don't know I've never heard the full album.
Anyways, it's a pretty quick, fun tune, definitely not unenjoyable, though not my favorite or anything, and it's a genre of music that I personally don't like much, so I'll give it a 6/10, but I can easily see why someone would really like it, and I can see it being an earworm
Wow, I really dig it. Great pick. If its not cheating, im gonna dump this on you. I like a few other songs by the artist and I just found this one and I love it and want to share the love.

If it feels cheap, just skip on. My captchas are eating me alive anyhoo.
Doug Walker?
Motel TV poster here. Didn't dislike the track, but the instrumentation was a bit bland. If it's not cheating, check this one out by Motel TV.
With my last post of the night, Ill give it a deeper review.
I hear a lot of Pixies influence, almost to the point that it is cloying... almost. The melodies are awesome. I really love the notes used. The singer's voice is not my favorite style, but Ive learned to appreciate a great number more of vocal styles lately, so this didnt kill me like it would have in HS. I cant make out a lot of the lyrics in my two brief listens, but I can say this:
As a self-proclaimed music "critic", I have noticed that I look for what is wrong before I look for what is right with a song. In general, I listen to a song, briefly list off the reasons why I hate it, and then move on to a different tune. When a song does nothing (or little) explicitly "wrong", I deem it listenable/"good", even if it is not quite good.
In general, these songs will last on my spotify, but only a handful are ever memorable. While I am not sure of the specifics of what makes a song memorable to me, songs that I deem "good" tend to fall into one of two categories... either I do my analysis and tally up the mistakes made and deem a song "good", or -rarely -my aforementioned analysis never even happens because a song/album is so distractingly good that I forget to judge the music as if it were my job. I am happy to say that -while this is not my new favorite song or anything -this song took me away for a moment, which is really saying something. Fantastic stuff, and I look forward to discovering the rest of these guys' music (looks like they only have 1 EP so far?)
Song by itself gets an 8/10
Normally music reviews on Cred Forums are just hard to take seriously, but something about yours feels a bit more genuine. If I'm wrong, so be it.
But yeah, Motel TV only has one EP. I've been sharing their music somewhat in hopes that more popularity leads to more music.

I enjoy this one a lot, too.

How dare you talk shit on Scott Walker you fag
What song did you post? I'll check it out.
this one pal
I'll preface this by saying that I'm not really a fan, so my criticism might not mean much. But it's enough to keep you focused on the music, but I don't feel that it does anything with that focus.
I see what you mean, after the switch to that bouncy melody, it doesn't change much. The reason I like that track is because, in the context of the album, it jumps out like a desert oasis, sort of, because it's really upbeat and a lot different timber-wise than the rest of the album, which is a desert-ish blend of drone, psych rock, traditional instrumentation, and Prog Electronics. Totem 3 is a good album, but not as good as Totem 1 imo, but a lot better than Totem 2, which kind of drags at points, but is a pretty good drone-y ritual ambient type thing, but still with the trad instrumentation, but less electroics
Surprisingly good after that initial tv-commercial riff in the first 6 seconds, vocals reminds me a bit of MGMT.
Thanks m80
