Hi
Tangerine Dream - Zeit

Already listened to Bad Moon Rising, it's underrated as fuck, I don't understand why it's hated so much by the critics.

>Shoot me a rec, I dig yer taste
Well, considering we seem to like the same type of stuff, I'm going to be shameless and recommend you something that appears on my chart. Listen to anything by Einstürzende Neubauten, pic related, a flowchart.

(((thisismuintwothousandandsixteniknewthequalityofthisboardwouldfallbutnothisisadisaster)))
Before I recommend you something, I'm doing a quick question
Do you know who Jeff Mangum is?

k i will
nothing comes up on google
you're cool

every time I come to these threads the average chart just looks more bland and terrible. Like I'm actually no longer embarrassed to post mine because there's no chance that it could be even in the top 5 most trash charts because holy shit you people have really bad taste

Third on the First is Seiko Oomori - Sennou
Fourth on the Second is Boris - Feedbacker
Second on the Third is Midori - Hello Everyone, Nice to Meet You, We Are Midori

weezer sucks

sorry for putting section 80 twice

If that's the worst you've got, I'll take it. I figure if you take the average quality of all their music they suck pretty bad, but Pinkerton and Blue have a really genuine youthful energy and spirit that I love. Plus Across The Sea is goat

meme

Check out Nujabes if you haven't already

what's the dancing anime lady on the second row?

have you listened to the White Album yet? it's pretty similar to their older stuff. definitely worth checking out.

lmao

3/10
now seriously guys, post your charts

...

I have, I didn't really care for it. Like I said, it doesn't have that same youthfulness to it. It's obviously incredible compared to some of the garbage they've done, but even then it's still only mediocre. A few good songs.

That Don Cab album is amazing, got anything like it, aside from the rest of their discog? Most math rock I find is a little too abrasive for my tastes.

step on my knees.

Checking Nujabes right now

Hella - Hold Your Horse Is
Storm & Stress - Under Thunder & Fluorescent Lights

Nujabes sounds so familiar and awesome

I hate life rec me some angry music

Good shit my man
Adult mom - momentary lapse of happily

Kishi bashi - lighght

I love that hella album, will peep the other

Not really related to any of your chart but if you want some angry music I'd say try some EyeHategod or Cursed.

MID 30'S

why aren't you guys posting your real charts? :(

take notes gentlemen

Well, not angry but based on your other music listen to Sweet Trip - Velocity: Design: Comfort and Fishmans anything.

And for angry music listen to Leaves Turn Inside You by Unwound

fk u fg

b-but why are you not posting your real chart?

>the average chart just looks more bland and terrible
>posts the most average "yeah i browse Cred Forums and im pretty serious about music" chart ever

He doesnt have a real chart, He is afraid of being judged

>Posting that chart
>Criticizing me
>The Hotelier in your top albums of all time

?

I had intended to include recs

海NET - Memory Book
Pacific UV - s/t

Ka - Honor Killed the Samurai
Far Out - Nihonjin

Luiz Costa - Obras para piano

I honestly think someone with Carrie and Lowell and Alex G in their top 100 has no right to criticize others, and this comes from a fan of Sufjan

k

can I get some ambient recs similar to Mort Garson - Plantasia and Oneohtrix Point Never - Replica?

not him but
>Nujabes sounds so familiar and awesome
do you watch to anime? Nujabes did the soundtrack for Samurai Champloo

>Carrie and Lowell isn't the best album of the 2010s
>Alex G isn't a pioneer of lo-fi bandcamp-core bedroom pop
Get out of here.

Emeralds - Does It Look Like I'm Here?
Black Moth Super Rainbow - Start A People
2814 - 新しい日の誕生

No, I think aruarian dance its a sample on madvillany

not even the best suf album of the decade
pioneer, what?

>2814 - 新しい日の誕生
not really into vaporwave aside from OPN, but thanks

gotta be bait.

>Carrie and Lowell isn't the best sufjan album.
He has no other album that is as consistently flawless. Age of Adz, Illinois, and Michigan all have individual tracks that are amazing, but aren't as cohesive and consistently perfect as C&L

Also, Alex G is genuinely one of the best songwriters of this generation. Only other bandcamp-core artist that comes close is Sam Ray, but he's not nearly consistent enough.

Well, you did ask for recs that are similar. Idk if you listened to the album or just saw that it was tagged as vaporwave, but it's about as far from vaporwave as you can possibly get and still call yourself vaporwave. It's really great.

I always appreciate (You)s, thanks my dude

>Well, you did ask for recs that are similar. Idk if you listened to the album or just saw that it was tagged as vaporwave, but it's about as far from vaporwave as you can possibly get and still call yourself vaporwave. It's really great.
I'll check it out then, thanks.

stop copying me you fuck i already did the mass reply meme

adz is consistent as fuck though, which is really not a very interesting quality anyways
>one of the best songwriters of this generation
but what did he pioneer?

Like I said, he was basically the first to ever do the psych, lo-fi, bedroom pop bandcamp aesthetic. He came before all of the shitty elvis Depressedly's, Teen Suicide, Salvia Plath etc etc. And he's much better. All of Orchid tapes now is basically copying Alex G but with much less inspiration and songwriting talent.

>>Carrie and Lowell isn't the best album of the 2010s
not even close baybeee
>>Alex G isn't a pioneer of lo-fi bandcamp-core bedroom pop
>wanting to listen to lo-fi bandcamp-core bedroom pop apart from ariel pink's early work
foh

I really need something as powerful and sludge-punk as the My War side B, any recs?

>4th on the top row
what album is this?

Maybe Eyehategod, while not the exact same, it does have a Sludge-Punk feel to it

Dead Kennedys Fresh Fruit for Rotting vegetables

Yeah, I like Eyehategod a lot but it just lacks the lyrical aspect for me
MC Ride and the Circlejerks - OK Aeroplane Over the Minor Threat

gotta be bate

but they're all just doing what beat happening or smog or gbv or idk did a few decades before, arent they?

If you can't tell a difference between this
youtube.com/watch?v=cK5k7srWRO0
And fuckin Smog I don't know what to tell you.

not even joking

recs please

forgot to (you) my chart

best chart in thread confirmed?

hmmm

check out modest mouse - think you might like them

k let's say he's a pioneer of lo-fi indie revival, alongside will toldedo

bump

appreciate not getting a single rec/rate senpais i swear im becoming more and more sympathetic to lazyposters
