Is this album blowing anyone else away? I did not expect this shit to be so damn good. This might be one of my favorite albums of all time immediately.
I have only felt such connection with maybe two other albums immediately.
Wow, just wow. I gotta admit that if Pitchfork didn't put out a review I might've skipped it. I had listen to some of Eno's other solo stuff but nothing like this.
Elijah Thomas
dude eno is goat
Evan Martin
what if i told you pitchfork were a buncha dumbfucks and that's the "worst" of his 4 pre-ambient non-collaboration solo albums?
Chase Russell
I think this is a great album regardless. It's probably one of the best albums to introduce to other people right away. That's how I usually see Pitchfork's rating scale. How influential and how accessible(yet still representative of the artist) the album is.
Levi Rodriguez
it's still good (that's why "worst" was in quotation marks)
it's less accessible than warm jets and inferior to before & after science though
Kayden Thomas
I think I will have the big ship play at my funeral in 100 years.
Kevin Peterson
Golden Hours would be perfect for that.
Dominic Hernandez
Perhaaaps my brains are old and scrambled
Jacob Cooper
Is it just me or do others like the songs with lyrics much better on AGW
Sebastian Gutierrez
Several times. I've seen the evening slide away. Watching the signs. Taking over from the fading day
Noah Rodriguez
In Dark Trees into The Big Ship is probably the highlight of the album for me, and I still love all the songs with vocals.
Hunter Lee
holy fuck, i thought of that as well
Hudson Wood
no it's a fucking boring album
Cameron Bell
What two other albums? Another green world is definitely in my top 5
Benjamin Lopez
Listen to Here Come the Warm Jets you fuck
Justin Foster
The Big Ship is GOAT funeral song
Brandon Mitchell
Before & after science has similar tracks fyi
Adam Bennett
>inferior to before and after science just no
Nolan Ortiz
Yep, it's playing at mine 100%
James Murphy
Oh, just yes.
Dylan Watson
It's lame that it takes a glowing Pitchfork review to get people to actually listen to this, but at least they're listening
Brandon Phillips
me too, and used similarly in Me and Earl and the Dying Girl vimeo.com/140053995
Kayden Johnson
It's one of my fav albums of all time bud I wish I could write anything half as beautiful
Angel Cruz
>>>/daily/ or whichever pleb circlejerk you came from
Lincoln Ross
Agreed GOAT album. I will always sit playing solitaire by the window.
Dylan Peterson
Not even him lmao AGW is great and is more cohesive but BaAS has By This River
Jeremiah Walker
its in my top 5
played it for my parents in the car a couple months back and they thought it was shit
