ITT: Bands without a bad album
>b-but their 90s stuff
These were mediocre, not bad

This is the only musician I could think of that doesn't have a bad album.

I unironically agree

Is say Test for Echo and hold your fire are legitimately bad albums. Other than those 2 though, I agree. Pic related is my choice

...

clockwork angels is ass

I'll never understand the meme among rush fans that it's the best since the 80s or whatever, the material is uninspired and the production is absolute dogshit

I hate this meme already

I agree, that album sucks and I love Rush, Snakes and Arrows was the better late era album.

>What's Her first album ever?

In the wake of posiedon is pretty terrible desu senpai

I am a huge Rush fan, but I am able to admit that their stuff from Hold Your Fire-Clockwork Angels (minus Vapor Trails) was obviously subpar to their previous work.

...

I

Oh. Right. Almost forgot about that.

How about The Smiths?

How so? It's basically ITCOCK part 2

...

New Order

All the songs are the same, so technically yeah.

It's pretty bland but not bad.

...

mediocre, not bad

Haven't been able to find a song I don't like by these guys yet.

Nice Try

mediocre, not bad

Obvious. Dying young helps alot.

Breaking up before get old help too.

Ouch. 'Bastille Day' alone almost saves it. But not quite.

Prove me wrong

...

Awful choice, this is better than 2112.

mediocre, not bad

...

I cannot believe that people actually like Korn.

Not a huge fan of the first album though

...

Motörhead

Everybody knows it's The Beatles.

Death Grips

...

It's at least a 6/10.

Speaking KC I tried listening to Beat and Three of a Perfect Pair and hated them. Now that I've listened to Discipline and love it, should I go back and give them another shot?

If you just pretend the "album" they made in 2005 didn't happen, then Big Star have a truly flawless discography.

...

forgot der piktur

This.

The Police are one of those rare bands where you can ask five or six people what their favorite album is and you'll get a different answer every time.
I personally think they had two masterpieces, (ZM and RdB) and three great albums.

Definitely. It takes a little while for them to click, I guess. Three of a Perfect Pair in particular became one of my favorites after a couple of listens.

2112 is only remarkable over their other output in that it was their true breakout

everything post-Feels ranges from not-good to bad

i took the bait didnt i

this tbqh
mark's really recent stuff is regrettable though, like his micheal jackson diss track

Each ISIS album has been top notch

pic related, plus
Juana Molina
Deep Turtle
Mr Bungle
Peter Gabriel
Floyd ("buh...buh... buh... AMLoR or Atom Heart Mother or the Final Cut") - these are simply so-so albums, but not bad by any measure.

+1 the Poleeez

...

>Atom Heart Mother
>The Final Cut
>so-so
famalia please

...

Endless River was shit by all measures however

Even as a remake of ITCOTCK it's still good

...

Clockwork Angels was p good

Atom Heart Mother is great actually

you're joking.... right?

this
I actually can really appreciate their don't fix it if it isn't broken attitude with that album. And they went in lots of different directions afterwards so it's not like having a ITCOTCK 2.0 is a bad addition

I was trying to imply that they were both really good, actually. Sorry if it came out the wrong way- AHM is my favorite PF album and The Final Cut is very underrated, i think.

one of the most consistent bands ever

>what is every album that isn't debut, post, vespertine, homogenic and vulnicura

Deluded fanboy detected

Nothing past white pony us even good

Outlandous or Zenyatta is their best. Comon now.

Nope. It wasnt terrible, but it certainly wasnt good.

plenty of his albums hit the 4/5 mark as well

No. Tears, Lessons, and the Twilght Zone drag down 2112 a lot. There is not a bad song on Caress of Steel.

Well that's just uncalled for.

I give the edge to Zenyatta, I wouldn't change one note on side A.

I would say the Untitled its not their worst tho but I think Korn 3 is utterly shit.

Hold your fire is underrated.

2112 the song = amazing
2112 the album = their weakest pre-Grace Under Pressure album other than their debut

Permanent Waves - 10/10
Hemispheres - 10/10
A Farewell To Kings - 9/10
Signals - 8.5/10
Moving Pictures - 8/10
Caress of Steel - 8/10
2112 - 7/10
Fly By Night - 7/10
Grace Under Pressure - 6.5/10
Rush - 6/10
Power Windows - 6/10
Vapor Trails (remastered) - 6/10
>everything else is 5/10 or lower

Power windows is one of their best albums. Name one song on the album that isn't 8/10+

Territories

that's one of the best songs, if not THE best, on the album

Better people. Better food. Better beer.
I guess better songs as well.

Nah, you're thinking of Marathon.

The Twilight Zone is fantastic, what are you smoking?

Pot.

All the demos are good too.

What a pleb. That album is good.

...

...

...

Well they put out notm and fashion week, sooo

...

I don't like them as a band, but I heard Freak on a Leash on the radio today and had to surpress my urge to blast it as loud as possible.
