that's actually the first residents album
don't tell anyone i told you

they should have just combined magical mystery tour and yellow submarine but with only new tracks to make a better album

People will complain that it's not an album but you're right, it has a lot of their best songs and I think the first half of the album (the actual EP) is really cohesive.

that would be beatles for sale

The only song on Yellow Submarine that wouldn't be below-par for MMT is It's All Too Much

>they should have just combined magical mystery tour and yellow submarine
Okay, I follow
>but with only new tracks
...Care to explain?

Meant for

flying is the worst Beatles song of all time. one of the worst songs ever made

>MMT
>album

...

here is my proposed track listing for the superior psychedelic beatles album

(Side one)
Only a Northern Song
Hey Bulldog
Across the Universe

(Side two)
All Together Now
Baby, You're a Rich Man
It's All Too Much

You forgot Fool on the Hill, Blue Jay Way, and Strawberry Fields

how wrong can one person be

So, like, combining tracks with other tracks? What would you call the new album? Magical Mystery Submarine, or something more creative?

fool on the hill, and blue jay way were made for the masgical muystery tour soundtrack, those dont count, and strawberry fields was for the sgt pepper soundtrack but was made a single

all of the songs i used were left off albums or were made for the yellow submarine album

i noticed i forgot You Know My Name, that would probably go on Side 2

i would call it yellow submarine: the good version

Underrated? Yeah, it was an interesting project by them that got panned because it was too weird and not "Beatles" enough, but it really is an interesting and enjoyable work. Not a single bad track? For the EP maybe but the US LP is trash. Side Two just a jumbled mess of singles. Baby You're a Rich Man is objectively terrible

>the song which predicted the internet was not included

Honestly I know it's not underrated but I think Help! should get more credit than it deserves. It was a major turning point for the Beatles and I can't honestly name a bad track on there. It incorporated many different styles of music (like Ringo's cover of Act Naturally) and contains some of the most complex and memorable instrumentals in all of their library (see Yesterday, I've Just Seen a Face).

Personally my favorite album though Rubber Soul is a close second.

baby you're a rich man is the secpnd best song on the b-side, after strawberry fields

>Baby You're a Rich Man is objectively terrible

i forgot you know my name

(Side one)
Only a Northern Song
Hey Bulldog
Across the Universe

(Side two)
You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)
All Together Now
Baby, You're a Rich Man
It's All Too Much

this track listing is pretty good for a better yellow submarine album but only newer songs for the time, and it roughly comes out to a half hour playtime which is consistent for standards at the time i think

>Not a single bad track on it.

YOU SAY YES
AND I SAY NO
YOU SAY STOP
AND I SAY GO GO GO

literal fucking trash that an 8-year-old could have written

It's a great album, I don't skip any tracks either.

Do you know many 8 year old songwriters user?

>Not a single bad track on it
>I Am the Walrus on it
pick one

coocoocachoo mothafuckah

...
