My friends turntables just came in the mail though! Maybe I should invest in a nice system this Christmas, I don't know.
Post something that you forgot you'd made or were hiding away... It's all good - there are no judges here, only potential fans. (Just Everywhere)

I got nothing right now sort of busy. I need to meet up with my friend and have him teach me some VST stuff desu. We've been intending on making something together. In any words, I haven't made the time.

Here's something I made sampling miles Davis that I'm proud of. I made a lot of stuff and only posted it on Cred Forums once, so it's hidden in the archives on purpose.

Description:
"An EP I made."
-AP Macroeconomics
With a name like AP Macroeconomics, you would expect something completely horrible or completely funny. Even some of the song titles would seem like jokes. But behind the oddity of a name, Thomas Meskil presents the listener something totally opposite. Mumbling guitars, cohesively cluttered percussion, somber soaked vocals, humble, like a hug from a wise, old friend. Compatible with lyrics that feel both personal to the man behind the name and universal to all who listen, AP Macroeconomics is definitely a musician to keep your eye on.
Now available for stream and download! CDs available at AP Macroeconomic's bandcamp as well!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Thomas some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

This is me hello:)
Damn, Sleep In is very nice. I'm digging this a lot. A couple things though. While I love the singing and delivery, vox are too loud and dry for my taste. put some distortion on em and a bit of reverb. I adore that snare and ride sound, sound washy and warm, but the crash that happens twice i think sounds bad to my ear. And the guitar sounds like it gets behind at times but it kinda helps with that lazy drugged out sound. Besides that, that was damn good. Frozen Lake Syndrome sounds cool too. Cant help but think a real drumset would help though. DL'd
8.25/10
This doesnt too it for me man, sorry. It's not bad by any means, its just too dull for me, theres not even atmosphere for the slow build and the vocals arent for me. ButI get why people dig, so who cares what I think!
I really dont like this either. Sounds really generic. I've played with several bands that sound just like this, and ive heard countless others. While I cant stand modern emo/math rock, this just sounds even more generic than most. Plus the recording is so dull and flat sounding. Do not rec this, sorry :( 2/10
couldnt see myself listening to the full album, but its okay. A bit too wacky for my liking and there isnt too much to grab onto, if that makes sense. Ican see why people would love this though, Its very fun. I bet it'd be cool live. 6/10
really didnt like track 1 but track 2 was pretty cool, like that progression. very big stringy sounding chorus guitar. Not the most original thing ive heard but its fun and catchy. 7.5/10
sounds pretty neat. not exactly my thing, but its doing what its trying to do. 6/10
I always see your support list grow, but I never see my band's music on there :(
What is your band? We gladly invite any submission to the label.
Glad you dig it! Yeah if I had to change one thing on the album I would mix the Vox lower. And Frozen Lake was supposed to have real drums but I had to get it done quickly to have it out when I wanted. I might redo it in the intended form and release that with a couple other songs as a single or something
this is me:
I wasnt aware that those bands were on your label. I just thought you had bought their music (Cassette, CD). haha my mistake! What does being on the label entail?
I'd be interested to hear a remixed, reworked version. But, I downloaded the album so i'll check out the rest later. I love having good bandcamp artists in my music library. And youre right up there!
I always post my stuff in these and stick around, but dont know if ive seen you before this time?
Well send me a submission and we can definitely talk more about this. If that's ok?
>nz post hardcore
Thanks a ton!
I posted a lot in the threads over the summer right after I put out a set of demos and really promoted those hard on here pretty much everyday with the promise of a full album. I stopped for a couple months because I hadn't finished it and felt like a dumbass just posting the same four songs every day for two months. But I put this out last week and feel pretty good about it.
cool man. I understand what you mean. My band's second album got delayed quite a bit so I stopped promoting the first single we had a few months prior to the release of the album. It feels redundant after a certain amount of time
>I wasnt aware that those bands were on your label.
they're not, except for one or two i think.
more good stuffs, particularly elemantra. sometimes they sound a bit too close to their inspirations but otherwise they're great.
im trying to write more original sounding stuff, but im glad you liked it :) Newer stuff is even better yet, but itll be awhile til we record it. Just come out and see us live, we're playing in Pittsburgh on Thursday!
This is fucking fantastic, by far the best thing I've ever found in one of these threads.

If not... I guess I'll have to put up with reencoded 192kbps for the rest of eternity. I would really appreciate your help, if you can.
i like the effects on the guitars , i would turn the drums up since the guitar is louder then everything but can be fixed also the vocals could have more effects
i see you everywhere dude lol your shit is cool but sounds too text book for me , mix it up maybe?
also have you ever tried drum and bass breaks? this would go great with that
youtube.com
the music you make , makes me emotional for some reason , thats a good thing. music you can feel , have you ever messed around with a drummer or drum machine? maybe a bass?
have more people play with you! i could hear strings and other instruments. Very emotional as well.
i really like this actually as lo-fi as it may seem. you can fix the vocals pretty easily just practice singing is all. The guitar has a folk feel which im sure you are going for. Keep going , i love ill swim with the sharks
I really like your aesthetic and the feel of your songs. I like the cult-ish references and i like the way you sample , i would say get more better at your drums sequencing but if you could live mix in real time i wouldnt mind seeing you live. Probably would be a weird show lol
so i really like this! the vocals probably need to leveled and mixed but the instrument are on fucking point , yall probably have some good jams sessions
come on man , you got two sold out tapes alrighty? what are you doing on here lol but your music is very fast and dreamy which is a reason why people probably like it. Keeping going , your doing just fine
your production is on point but i would say try to mix it up a bit more , get more funky
>Shouts Houston
>>shouts smithville
>>>shouts DJ Screw
so to me your music is all over the place , i would try to collect all of these sounds and try to condense them into something crazy.
so your music makes me really uncomfortable haha like the sounds make me feel weird.
I would say try to experiment more , and try to make a song that is a bit long then 40 seconds long and with more instrumentation. very video game-ish sounding
your music makes me think of when my dog died, not a bad thing , i like music i could feel. Try to add more instruments!
i really like your instrumentation , how i could hear everything play with each other , those drums are really well placed with everything!
>68085669
so i really like how you play guitar , really nice happy warm feeling, try to add some bass and maybe a girl that can sing good
you got a prog-band type feel , i like it , id say keep experimenting with the bass and guitar
so your music has alot of potential , if you slap some funky drums on top of your cool drone noises , it would sounds actually pretty dope
i really like the first minute of deepwater
Mmmmmm your beats make me hard , i like this , please dont stop
you had me at the first track on beat dump 6
i actually really really like this!! i wish this was free , id download it! please make more , i love the way you know how to use your effects on the guitars and how to use your vocals to match the feel of the songs
really like your stuff dude but you dont need me too tell you that , lots of people have downloaded it already
your sounds sound very flat , add some color to them , you should try to make them more vibrant
i really like your guitar play and effects! the vocals add a bit spice to the tracks. Id say turn the bass up and try out two guitars
you are one of the main reasons why these things arent constructive for anyone. you shit on people yet dont care to show why. Also like to see what you have made lately?
hey! im the singer in mouseatouille and the person who makes the instrumentals for firstkiss : ) thanks for the feedback!! our set up now for firstkiss is a lot better now ahaha. all the albums on that bandcamp are made with audacity and a guitar hero usb mic (no joke). also i made the instrumentals almost completely alone ahaha so jam sessions are a rare occurrence as we have to enlist other musicians and i have to teach them the parts. as far as mouseatouille goes i really need to practice my vocals. not sure how i'd go about doing that but hopefully i'll get there. we're about to record our entire ep and we are hoping to do it in one take onto tape which would be fun and quite lo-fi. again, thanks for the feedback!!
