This album and Thank You Happy Birthday are fucking GOAT. Melophobia was a let down for the most part I felt. The only song I've listened to from their new record is Trouble, and the "wicked get no rest" line always gets me, as cheesy as it is.

I know nobody here knows what this album is and even if you did, you'd hate it because it's pretty generic pop rock type stuff, but I like it a lot. I just wish it didn't get memed on Parks & Rec.

Melophobia was indeed better, but considering this as a debut and what not, it had a lot of things going on that were pretty good on it. Nothing about it was really "bad"

In One Ear and Free Love are excellent tracks.

Everything after that is awful. They tried to capitalize on the emergence of electronic music, and ended up making a pile of shit.

I'll never forget when Catalyst was released.

I was driving to school and my local radio station said they were gonna play Linkin Park's new song. Up until that point, I had like their stuff.

The song starts playing, and my brother who was with me in the car said, "Is this Linkin Park?" Keep in mind, the DJ had said it was Linkin Park.

Neither of us could believe it. It was such a dramatic shift from their first three albums.

Nobody I know liked any of their stuff from that point on.

TL;DR - A Thousand Suns is garbage, ruined their career, and shouldn't be liked by anyone.

With the exceptions of Give 'Em Hell, Kid and It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A Deathwish, every single song on this album is fucking great.
