My nigga, ever listened to Eno's Ambient 1 or 4?
this stupid fucking thread looks like a collage thread because of your pathetic wack ass chart.
Are you waiting for precious moments, when you feel a culmination of harmony and melodious feelings, only for it to be lost and never returned to again, leaving you with nothing once more?
First time I've ever made a chart and I've never really thought about what my favorite albums are before but this is what I came up with, it's kinda generic I know.
rec me something from or like the 80s UK new wave/post-punt
The girl you like is with a chad at this moment. But don't worry, they probably break up soon.
yeah, definitely into saariaho, even more so in the last couple years - i'll look up that, i don't THINK i've heard that, and if i have, I didn't listen closely enough
yeah, i dunno, you're probably right, but i had turned off bubblegum bass stuff for a bit, so coming back to it, it felt really fresh - you know how maybe genre exercises sound really good if you used to love the genre, but haven't been on it for awhile?
sort of a sound collage electronic thing - i guess you could lump it into the catchall "internet music" thing bc it has touches of vaporwave, etc., but i don't want to call it that; i think the glitch and collage aspects are far more prominent
whats up with all the tapmusic charts now

nice on the tim hecker, do you have an opinion on mirages
it was good but I didn't enjoy the glitch elements so much, they felt a bit out of place to me. I need to listen to it again though it's been a little while
the glitch/harsh noise bits were what drew me into it in the first place to be honest
my small noggin can't take a whole bunch of ambient at a time, there's got to be something going on as seen in this fun chart
Posted yesterday but want s'more recs
Also, guess what I'm like lmoa
thanks, yeah I have listened to Snarky Puppy though
listened to almost all of future sound of london albums, thanks though
hey user
that corpo-mente album is great. i like it much better than igorr's usual solo stuff
I liked it the first couple times but after that it got pretty stale for me
I also liked the oxxo xoox stuff and whourkr more than corpo mente, and I liked his original stuff more than the side projects
getting real hyped for the new album, been a good two years since hallelujah
past two weeks, or so
smokes weed
gza - liquid swords
lauryn hill - the miseducation of lauryn hill
swans - soundtracks for the blind
giles corey - s/t
the brave little abacus - just got back from the discomfort -- we're alright
>sftb
>giles corey
I love Giles Corey but I don't like Soundtracks for the Blind. I prefer early and late Swans.
Lilys
you might like Unwound and Lync
nice Holy Haunted Head. If you haven't, listen to Low, and then check out Old Hearts Club's self titled 7"

Superstorms is incredible my dude!
Dude I'd love some recs off you, you have great taste (I'm )
Winter is coming lads
It is a winter's tale
That the snow blind twilight ferries over the lakes
And floating fields from the farm in the cup of the vales,
Gliding windless through the hand folded flakes,
The pale breath of cattle at the stealthy sail,
And the stars falling cold,
And the smell of hay in the snow, and the far owl
Warning among the folds, and the frozen hold
Flocked with the sheep white smoke of the farm house cowl
In the river wended vales where the tale was told. Your

i wanna date you
unwound - leaves turn inside you
open mike eagle - hella personal film festival
closest vibe to madvillainy ive found
also this chart is for the past few weeks not all time
It sure is. I'm so glad I found it
hey thanks!
I gotta be honest, i haven't heard a whole lot on your chart. slint is great, and i like twin fantasy and pinkerton as well. i'd love to get the names of some of those albums so i can listen to them. what's the one of trees next to slint?
i need to check out american footbal, microphones and red house painters already
what are the two albums beneath american football?
based on the fact that you liked my chart though, and the things i know about your picks, here are some recs:
teen suicide- bad vibes forever
Giles Corey - self titled
Have a Nice Life - Deathconsciousness (as well as The Unnatural World, if you like it)
you might like It's a Beautiful Day - self titled. weird classical and folk mixed with psychedelic rock from 1969
i think you'd like Public Strain by Women and their self titled EP. if you like them, most of the members of the band went on to form Preoccupations, and their LP and EP are worth checking out
you might like Candy Claws- Ceres and Calypso in the Deep Time. feels like a lullaby for children sort of like Newsom does
here is my current full chart. would love some recs, myself
The one next to slint is 'After the Warmth' by German Error Message, the two under Americ are the things that happen at day/night eps by Milo.
Somehow I've heard every rec you gave me but the folk/ psych one haha
yo nice chart we have a lot of stuff in common. check out my chart for recs and the stuff I replied to the other guy applies to you too. try esmerine - dalmak and and hangedup - kicker in tow as well
well shit. OH! i know
Caethua- Red Moon
also The Long Afternoon of the Earth, and I May Be Gone a Long, Long Time
she has other albums that are worth checking out if you like those, but those are probably the best. they have a folky-western feel to them, but in kind of a subversive way, with added drone and distortion at times. I saw her play live last January and she was amazing. Very melancholic and haunting, but also calming at times. Red Moon has my favorite track by her, "Ode to Joey", and a few of the tracks are really good, but it also has one or two pretty bad ones, in my opinion.
Long Afternoon starts off very calm and simple with folk tunes and field recording ambience, and gets darker as the album goes on. I'm not really a Scaruffi person, but he gave it 7/10
