>try something you wouldn't normally listen to.
hmmm
what should I try

oh and for you I'm gonna toss a random rec: Chroma Key - Graveyard Mountain Home

Haha, it's funny because I think I can count the number of songs that have acoustic guitar in my library on one hand. But this is nice. I feel like I'm cruising down a small town highway in the middle of summer.

I recommend "What Else Is There?" by Royksopp if you're feeling something slow and sad, or "Way Away" by Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer if you're feeling something poppy and upbeat.

ok reccing stuff you might not have considered before that sounds like fun

not sure if you'd like this but here's serebro, they're a russian girl group

I gave the first track a listen to
the instrumentals were good but I really didn't like the vocals desu
for you: youtube.com/watch?v=0wg4FnO5aa0

>eluvium - lambent material

I haven't heard this but I do like what I've heard of Eluvium, thanks. Try Esmerine - Dalmak or Oiseaux-Tempête - S/T

I've never payed Heart much attention, but this is pretty catchy.

volapuk - polyglot
chui wan - white night

yeaah me too
you should try jose gonzalez also, he's the singer from junip and his stuff sounds basically like that but just stripped back to guitar only, really gorgeous

and I'm definitely interested in girl groups of any and all shapes and sizes!

sorry I can only read gookrunes not filthy jap dog scribbles
but I'll check out anton webern sometime
what can you tell me about him

hell yeah I love underwear band and I'm mot even usually one for post-rock or whatever
you ought to try chui wan also I think, if you haven't

oh that's yoshiko sai, kind of a psychedelic folk 70s lady
really smoky druggy cool atmosphere, I really liked it
the thing I listened to was a compilation of her first two albums, and although that arts just for second one, mikkō, I actually prefer the first one called mangekyō is a bit more folksy and stripped back
youtu.be/mSIdJZ9GxQM

but either way they're both worth listening to imo so

Here are some recent albums I have heard. I have been pretty busy as of late

yeah it's one of their better 21st century tracks imo

oops I forgot to add a link for serebro sorry

I've only started getting into that sort of stuff. You got any recs for stuff that's similar to paavoharju and ksiezyc?

ohhh those verses are quite nice
I feel like the chorus could use some mustard though, like there's not a lot build to it idk exactly
but they've got some nice voices

kiss me you fool

ai aso is an angel
do you like phew

np
I dont know anything about prog but those are really really nice especially volapuk

glad you liked Zolof! They're a unique band in my book. I have a hard time finding other bands similar to them.

youtube.com/watch?v=eheFYJh0mVs
