I'll be surprised if something comes along this year and trumps this.

shiggery diggery doo
Nothing this year is worthy of being called AOTY and won't enter the canon of the decade (except maybe bottomless pit and blackstar, but not for the quality of the music)
Everything's trapped in the 0 - 7 realm, so mediocre
only transcendental shit was a single, come on

...
those are ratings for the albums, as in the overall idea, concept, etc. not just if I like it or not. And not seeing how BP is more cohesive, structured and overall tight than all those (= more of an album than the others) is being fucking deaf.
Danny Brown's AE has multiple tracks that surpass the BP tracks but it's so weak in more moments that as a whole, it's 'worse'.
I can see why and I respect that. But trading his lo-fi sound for a more pop and round edged sound instead was a weak move imo
>Changing his Lo-fi sound for more pop and round edged sound was a weak move
LMAO! That's a bold move, the production of his work now compared to the TF days just isn't comparable. And to say its a "Weak Move"
hahahaha
This is definitely one of my favourites of the year so far
i wasn't referring to the production
he was far more original back then and now he's just another indeh pop artist more doing the same that has been done to death
even his lyrics got worse
i wasn't referring to TF either
why you come off as so immature with all those caps and haha's, ayy
un-ironically.
you're taking this too far mate
The Conformists (STL) -- DIVORCE
Recorded by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio.
These guys have been in the local scene for 20 years, and they just put out the best album of 2016. Nihilistic Post-Hardcore/Math Rock.
This and Roly Porter - Third Law are my top 2
WWWINGS - PHOENIXXX
IC3PEAK - Fallal
Paul Jebanasam – Continuum
Palmistry - Pagan
Gerogerigegege - Moenai Hai
the Paul Simon album is really good imo and Wristband is a SOTY contender
t. someone who has only listened to Stranger to Stranger and Graceland
It's ok famiglia, the AOTY comes out tomorrow.

>Fis - From Patterns to Details
havent listened to these yet but heard some tracks from both on the latest TDHG-Jengi podcast. They actually played like 10 minutes of the Roly Porter album with a Trump speech over it.

Anyway considering you liked those you might also like WWWINGS - PHOENIXXX
which features similar sound design stuff but is more club oriented.

>structured
BP structured like shit, songs have awful transitions from one to another, even some guys on mu made a better playlist with those songs a couple of months before.
>cohesive
Those songs sound like they could easily be on the previous albums.
This is is the first album in their discography when they didn't invent a new sound, except for the song that was a single, it's the most directionless DG album yet.
Overall, you're just another deathgripsfags who's going to praise everything that they put out, no matter of quality.
Clipping, Bowie, Death Grips, and Swans have all been decent too.
