I haven't really focused on any of the lyrics/politics of the album but I was curious to see if Dev Hynes still had an influence on her sound. It's a soft album and there are some decent melodies sprinkled throughout, but it plays it a little safe in my opinion and can get boring/repetitive. The way the album is structured with the interludes and such seems a little pretentious to me as well for what the music actually is.
Thoughts on Solange's new album, A Seat At The Table?

Didn't even know who this bitch was until I read the kraftwerk story. Even if she made a good album she'll always be overshadowed by Beyonce.

Am I not allowed to listen to this because I'm white?
