Good:
That live recording of yours is amazing. The background noises spice it up.
Decent music
The imagery is perfection, the music is pretty good. It's the kind of shit I'd listen to in an empty room at midnight while high as shit

Usually don't post in these threads as most people aren't into field recordings, but I just uploaded an EP that's a little more musical. It's still pretty abstract but perhaps some people might be interested.

what direction would you guys want me to go in?
found this on yt youtube.com
glad to see that someone here has an audience.
why you guys waste your time? what are you trying to do?
another great band from Cred Forums are you guys playing live? would love to see your show
first tracks are "meh" but the other ones are great.
brings nothing new or "personal" to the table. charging 5bucks its just too much.
delightfull ear rape +10
you're 1 of my top 10 from here, keep it up mate. love this
New album released today.

Do your worst
>why you guys waste your time? what are you trying to do?
it's merely shitposting my friend
When I record music I take a whole day and set up my "home studio", these shitty dada joke albums happen when I had finished with everything and have extra time
Nihilsilence is just a joke, mocking "2deep4u nihilistic" harsh noise wall artists.
Thanks for listening! Hopefully you will hear some more live stuff soon-ish!
>125% better
Dude, but Kaori's Letter is fantastic, what the hell you're talking about? Also, thanks for checking out my newest!
Also, new/old recs:
(Forward. Only forward...)
Right time for those recs bois:
Really like this, it is very emotional and really brings a lot of memories of my dad so keep it up.
Surprisingly good, could see this becoming big
Nice one, can't wait to hear more
Listened to Quietus, the intro to Elysium reminded me of a Godspeed You! Black Emperor song, I dig it
Eh not really my thing, its good don't get me wrong just not my cup of tea but i guess some people will like it.
Can definitely see this being used in some hipsters indie film, nice job
Sounds good, like right tossed more so than this but still good none the less
Have both of the double albums and they're great, love it
Literally had the same idea to post an album of silence then realised how fucking stupid that was.
Trve Kvlt m8, seriously though really enjoy your music
>nihilsilence.bandcamp.com
Didn't mean for that last one to have the previous album copied to it, sorry lads
Just finished listening. The only thing I might say would be that the vocals could do with a lo-cut, but then again, it IS noise music so does that matter? The melodic part that comes in at the end completely through me off guard and is a great way to end the album.
b umping will return feedback
The sound reminds me of those old school japanoise groups, but it has more dynamics and fucks with your ear more.
>Really like this, it is very emotional and really brings a lot of memories of my dad so keep it up.
I'm baffled of how my music touched you. Huge thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks! never been compared japanoise groups before so I take that as a compliment!
Piano music in general gets me all emotional, but yours brought up those memories of my dad so even better! Will enjoy listening to this a lot!
>sounds from an untalented parasite
nice bait
Thank you! Yeah, the spoken word parts are a bit too loud. I used to own a lo-fi microphone made out of a rotary phone I recorded Szösz with, but nah, this one was made with an SM57.
Sorry, what I meant was that you should consider filtering out the lower frequencies in the vocals as it's a little mumbly and unintelligible. But yeah, like I said I really enjoyed it either way.
it's intelligible if you know hungarian :^)

if you wanna "get" it quicker pay attention to the drum parts, they're repetitive, and often trigger the synths/annoying resonant shit
bros, bit of advice. some of you post your 30 free to download albums every day on every bandcamp/sc thread. since you keep doing this it's obviously not working as a method of getting noticed.
quit making mediocre albums every other week and giving them away. stop considering them albums even. those are your demos. nothing more.
buy some gear, dedicate the time to actually make an album from all those demos and ideas. make whatever you want but make sure it has a quality to it that will make it accessible. stop using only cracked VSTs and ableton live.
and most importantly. stop posting on these threads and start playing shows in your city. even if it's house parties at first, make your way into the local scene, work towards building relationships with touring bands opening for them when they come through, no matter how big or small. they'll book you in their city when you finally decide to tour.
please stop this internet nonsense and work on your music.
disregard this if you only care about fb likes and don't consider music a real career and you're only having fun (which btw you should state on your liner notes or every time you post your music)
this is the best advice you'll ever get and something rarely anyone tells you. i'm in a semi-popular band living off music only by doing these things.
OK
How do you know people aren't doing those things? I post my stuff on here but I've played a couple of shows including a festival and only do it for fun. These threads are for posting stuff so why are you being condescending without even contributing yourself?
good thought
But i do play shows, and the music is just a way to release feels, anyways.
Don't see why I'd have to explicitly state that
because by doing it "for fun" you cheapen the art of those doing it "for real".
people will catch on if you're not serious about it and will stop returning your calls sooner or later, do as you please.
If you make something and release it then it is "for real". There's always some great stuff in these threads and I'm sorry if you're too retarded to even acknowledge that possibility.

Recs
Explain how a kid making beats for fun after school because he doesn't have a videogame console equals to someone spending all their money on gear and gas to make music and tour please.
That's a pretty big assumption to make. When I was a teenager I was in a traditional band and gigging regularly. I don't have time for that shit now but maybe I should stop making stuff because some cunt on Cred Forums told me to.

Description:
"An EP I made."
-AP Macroeconomics
With a name like AP Macroeconomics, you would expect something completely horrible or completely funny. Even some of the song titles would seem like jokes. But behind the oddity of a name, Thomas Meskil presents the listener something totally opposite. Mumbling guitars, cohesively cluttered percussion, somber soaked vocals, humble, like a hug from a wise, old friend. Compatible with lyrics that feel both personal to the man behind the name and universal to all who listen, AP Macroeconomics is definitely a musician to keep your eye on.
Now available for stream and download! CDs available at AP Macroeconomic's bandcamp as well!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Thomas some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.
ANNOUNCEMENT: We will be releasing new material each Saturday of October, and something on Halloween!

you sound like a massive anal retentive asshole, the kind of guy who doesnt get out much, but when he does, ruins other peoples fun and looks awkward at social gatherings. I do stuff for me first and then for you. If you know what I mean.
I'm into music mainly because its the only thing I have (at least at this point in my life) and the only thing "that gave me something back" for my effort, for trying to get my point across.
I dont want "to make it", fuck, I dont even want you to like me. Do you thing I do this for fun then? FUCK NO. Doing this shit is a fucking pain in the ass for me, but again, its the only thing I have.
Yes, I'm glad of the thousands and thousands downloads I get in bandcamp, the few bucks and the people who "follows me". But I just do my shit because I want to put "my everyday self" in sound not because "I want to make it" or "Have fun".
But on the other hand, looking at myself, you're right. Sorry for wasting space here just wanted to explain shit in broken english (I'm a spanish/french guy ya know) & yes, I will stop posting here eventually. Thanks for your words.
also, people dont need to be "a great musician" to say that your music is shit. like you dont need to be a fucking chef to say that the food tastes like shit. god.
ok, so music shouldn't be fun.
got it.
literally posting links to my stuff while on tour right now. multitasking is a thing, you know? It's just another method of helping people hear your stuff and developing a strong community
