this and gain are probablyt the best things to happen to me

oh did you hear the new red velvet
for soem reason i can't remember talking about it with you

Hit a point of epiphany last weekend, in the early stages of trying to live that epiphany
God what the hell does Heidi Montag's music sound like?
Bill Evans and Melt Banana are the only ones I know much about, like both of them

september's been a bit crap but nothing too terrible. I don't recall listening to Pink Floyd that much but whatever.

Annoyed that school's started again cause now they have to deal with all the dickhead kids on the bus

prefers walking places whenever it's not too far

i also like both of them especially melt-banana
you might try ex-girl imagine if melt-banana took a bunch of psychedelics and slowed down and added crazy opera voices

ps love gogol bordello

spot on
have you heard negativlands thing with chumbawamba?
it's ace

eunjung tho
no
how's september for YOU

I heard it once about a week ago, been meaning to relisten to it.

you shoulddd
i'm probably biased since chumbawamba is muh fave but its my favorite negativland thing
i'm gonna listen to it rn in fact

have you ever heard les sculpteurs de vinyl?

right now i said

Actually posting artists now like I was supposed to
You'd probably like Tobacco. Uhhhh... Porcupine Tree if you haven't checked them out yet.

I can't say I have, no. They do seem very interesting though, I'll have to go check that out.

bez's madchester albums - sorted tunes from back in the day

...

suck my coc

September has been really good for me actually. Got settled into a new job making actually decent money for once.
On the flipside I incurred 1 couple injuries and can't really lift like I want to right now
Where should I start with Can?
What's your favorite TMBG album?
If I didn't like Pink Flag is there any hope of me liking post-punk?
I've heard it's like THE post-punk album and I didn't enjoy it at all.

big ol coc
only ever listened to flood desu

not the pink flag guy, but there's a lot of different post punk out there. Try something like Marquee Moon or Metal Box.

University is a bitch, even more so since I commute daily.
I don't fuck with any of the artists on your chart, sorry.

thats a lot of k-pop

interesting mix

gonna go out on a limb and say your headphones are expensive

nothing sticks out to me here. not saying that's a bad thing, though

if you like FlyLo, most of the other beatmakers on his label make stuff in a similar vein.

that's some relatively normal september

+polvo
+cc
++julia holter

++supertramp
+ grimes

+daft punk
+mac demarco
+they might be giants
+slint

what d'you study?
++neat beats
++smoke city
+MIA

not enough desu

what didn't you liek about pink flag

their album is a ton of fun
some of it is in that really chaotic john oswald style and some of it is a little more coherent but it's all good

>Where should I start with Can
Tagoago is where I started, then Ege Bamyasi, Then Monster Movie, and the best for last Future Days

+electric wizard, C93, uncle acid and the deadbeats, weedeater
I've been listening to a bunch of windhand and monolord recently, if you haven't heard each of their respective newest albums you should really check them out.
you should watch the movie "the rage in placid lake"
+GY!BE

Been good, just started uni again, bit scared about whether I'm ever gonna get a job.

You never get an early night

The 'cool' guy at the party

alone a lot

only recently set up my last.fm btw so it's a bit skewed

Yeah I've listened to a good few of the Brainfeeder artists.
Teebs is cool and I like TOKiMONSTA especially.
Their other shit is good too, I'd recommend checking out some of their other stuff. Apollo 18 was solid from what I remember.
I might try them. I don't really like punk much except for some of the sub-genres of hardcore so I don't hold out much hope but I'd like for post-punk to click for me because there seems to be some good shit out there.
It's been like a year since I listened to it so I don't really remember desu, just that I didn't enjoy myself listening to it.
I'll try them out. Thanks breh.

I've been meaning to check out Monolord ever since I saw them at Desertfest back in may but I kept forgetting their name. Thanks for reminding me.

i was gonna say. either way good stuff on here. which set fire to flames album? Have you listened to much more constellation bands other than smz and sftf?

I study Information Systems (IS). Used to be a Comp Sci major a few years back but I dropped out of my previous university my sophomore year. My work ethic has improved dramatically since then, I think.

ya Toki is amazing but her more recent LPs leave much to be desired, at least for me. Midnight Menu was her high point but the EPs she put out before that were also decent.

>T I V
Telegraphs in Negative/Mouths Trapped in Static. Really enjoyed it, excited for the other one. Apart from GY!BE, not really. Any recs?

Haven't listened to her last couple projects desu, not sure if I will or not.
I have listened to most of Teebs output. I gotta say that even though he doesn't reach the same heights for me, he is extremely consistent.

check out:
Coeur de pirate- youtube.com/watch?v=n7vYo6l06lo
Nouvelle Vague-youtube.com/watch?v=4qBWvA6H7Zg
both good french singers, I feel like you already know any good English female singers I know.
Wild ones - paia
i think u would like sun ra if you don't already

desu I only just got around to checking them out last week and they're fucking mindblowing.
+clipping, set fire to flames, HANL, joy division, a silver mt zion, massive attack
if you haven't already checked out dalek or darkside - psychic, do so.
also check out:
kiss the anus of a black cat - Weltuntergangsstimmung
heroin and your veins - nausea
dax riggs - if this is hell then I'm lucky
youtube.com/watch?v=5tXLef81Xgg

telegraphs in negative I think has some better tracks but signs reign rebuilder is much more coherent and better put together. And sure here's some I enjoy:
esmerine - dalmak
hangedup - kicker in tow
hiss tracks - shortwave nights
HRSTA - l'éclat du ciel etait insoutenable
fly pan am - s/t

all those bands share members in one way or another.

Thanks, any particular dalek album to start with?

>Verification
>I'm not a robot
>Marina & the Diamonds boner

moved back in for college a month ago today so this is pretty accurate college core
++emptyset, check out KETEV (i rec them every time i see you in these threads)
this is an artist thread dumbie

Been a hell of a month. I also played a lot of El-P, Lupe Fiasco, Aesop Rock, and in the car, but you can't scrobble CDs.
Holy shit OP did you really not listen to a single male artist for a whole month? Impressive

+Tobacco, Miles

+Frank, YG, Gorillaz

you really like that undertale soundtrack huh

lol, the songs are all like 50 seconds. You leave it on for 5 mins and you already got 6 scrobbles. It adds up fast :(
I just recently played though. Won't maintain that spot for long haha.

Venetian snares- Traditional synthesizer music

>Been a hell of a month. I also played a lot of El-P, Lupe Fiasco, Aesop Rock, and in the car, but you can't scrobble CDs.
Boy did I fuck that sentence up, but you get the gist

I like from the filthy tongues of gods and griots the best because it's got the most oldschool industrial influence, although a better starting point would probably be asphalt for eden which is more relaxed and fuzzy.
>KETEV
iirc i've rec'd hose.got.cable - majesty to you before but if I havn't you'd probably like them.
I don't remember to listen to this project very often, his self titled stuff is my second favorite album out of subtext though.

hi sorry it took a while to reply was busy

yeah the new red velvet was nice, I need to listen to it more though

it's that kinda pop designed to be very catchy and girly
like britney or paris hilton
a lot of people don't like it but it's not bad imo

uh it's been an okay month I guess, not much really happened

thanks for those, both nice tracks
definitely preferred the first though

I did listen to some male vocal stuff but not nearly as much as female

+ye, screw
++carly bae jepsen

Look up a1
Southern shores - loja
Oddisee - the good fight
El-P is the goat

Why do gay men have such awful taste?

because they don't give a shit about what people on a singaporean cross stitching board think

Shitty because every time I participate in this threads they always get archived before getting any "you"s
That and other reasons

Nice passive agression flamer.

+joy division, clipping, a place to bury strangers, HANL
check out ambersmoke - une femme est une femme
bauhaus - in the flat field

+Swans, clipping.,Duster
How's HANL
+Burial, Radiohead
-GTA
+Eyehategod, Dalek, Acid Bath

for me it's probably because I'm too busy thinking about big dicks to develop good taste
or actually maybe it's just because I listen to what I like and don't really care what's pleb and patrician

well here's one reply for you
idk what your other reasons are but I hope things get better
maybe try anekdoten I heard they took a lot of king crimson influence

+kiss the anus of a black cat, gorguts, eyehategod, black pus, nails, foh & merz
koreisch - this decaying schizophrenic christ complex

They are nice
