Thanks for the feedback! I hope you enjoy the metal tracks too.
We're a two piece group. I would love to come play in your city, but we're lacking a live drummer at the moment. Maybe in the future!
Awesome! Thanks, mate!
2ofus freestyle redux sounds like animal collective went trap rap, great melody in the back too. I love the groggy atmosphere of this whole tape.

Description:
"An EP I made."
-AP Macroeconomics
With a name like AP Macroeconomics, you would expect something completely horrible or completely funny. Even some of the song titles would seem like jokes. But behind the oddity of a name, Thomas Meskil presents the listener something totally opposite. Mumbling guitars, cohesively cluttered percussion, somber soaked vocals, humble, like a hug from a wise, old friend. Compatible with lyrics that feel both personal to the man behind the name and universal to all who listen, AP Macroeconomics is definitely a musician to keep your eye on.
Now available for stream and download! CDs available at AP Macroeconomic's bandcamp as well!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Thomas some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

Hey, this is APM. I haven't really checked out these threads in awhile because I've been busy with school, but I'm gonna give a lot of these a solid listen. Keep posting, because I've never been disappointed from one of these threads. Every time I've looked, I'be found something I wanna keep listening to. When I give some stuff a listen I'll respond and Rec.
Also I know it says CDs are sold out on this page, but if you go to my page there will be CDs. It's linked above.
Thank you. If we progress on we will be there each month till January so you may be able to catch one
here, I really need to catch up on some more of these, a lot of them seem really good
Really digging this, has that monotonous DSBM feel without being boring like a lot of one-man BM. Clean post-rock parts segue well into the metal sections. My recommendation would be to try to fill out the guitar sound a little more. I know it's black metal and lo-fi can be a stylistic choice, but I think it could sound better with richer, if still gritty, production
The People Wanted To Know Why is really really good, reminds me of Swans. Powerful sound, I hope you do more dynamic post-rock stuff in that vein.
The sound was strange at first but it works, almost reminds me of a Giles Corey but more dreamy than gloomy. You've got a nice voice for this kind of music. The one loud shoegaze track (Amy Real) was a little out of place but the distant acoustic strumming beneath the noise was very nice.
I wasn't crazy about "Demos" but the new stuff seems a lot more fleshed-out. Very comfy sound, a little Diiv-ish. Nice and layered without sounding too muddy.
>Powerful sound, I hope you do more dynamic post-rock stuff in that vein.
im working on it, but it's pretty hard to do stuff like that when you're only one person and the only way you can get stuff like drums is by asking people online to record a bunch of rough takes for you
do you just have some folder with like 53657389 glitchy images to use for posting on these threads because it looks like it

i usually make around 100-600 in a month. Usually it's what i make when I'm bored
ok i accidentally listened to this whole thing, great tape. Gets better as it goes on.
how do you make them? just go on paint and put random colors or
pixel sorting and using a phone app called Glitch!. Basically I keep using the effects on the app on the same photo for a while until it's broken down to it's main colors, then just make a pattern. Though i do a lot of different shit on it

i really like how old school this sounds. i feel like i'm right there listening to you play in your shitty garage. i dig it.
this is so stinking good. my kind of sad boy pop. love the beat, and those sappy synths on david sorry. i bookmarked it for later.
transient life is really good. at first i really didn't care for the guitar tone, but it really grew on me. only thing i wish it had is more bass.

Description:
My Lady, the new album by Eric Taxxon, is the sound of drowned tragedies. A sister album to his past effort, Sky Simplified, Eric contrasts the former with thoughts of the blissful sea, the clenching night. Synths of sorts brush the shore of the mind, slowly dragging and capsizing the listener, leaving the conscious to dive deep, before finally casting the listener back out to the twilight-filled shore from which they came.

this is an ep I recorded back in june, I wanted to release something before I finished in high school so I whipped this up. It's lo-fi/bedroom pop or whatever you wanna call but it was also influenced by a lot of math rock and folk music.

Great, dreamy production. And the vocals are super unique, but work great. I think they're kinda what make it. Fav tracks: 7am, Cycle 4
Love the concept here. And its full of some pretty dope tracks. Like the interludes between tracks. Fits in well with the concept. Travel Channel is a banger.
Can tell this is sort of a demo project for you, but wanted to mention it because I like what you're doing with the sounds. Love whatever effect you have going on on the percussion on the third track and [incomplete] is actually a pretty sick beat.

Thanks man, I might make physical copies of the Shum albums once I get myself to order printable CDs (it's fucking expensive in my country and ordering it from Slovakia is 1/5 in price).
This is really nice, it reminds me of music I tried to make when I was in college and in love, but better and even incorporating musical influences I've picked up since then. Thank you.

Hey Yamir, I liked it but will have to give it more listens. Actually, I was surprised at how instrumental it was. Was expecting more vocals for some reason. But I already like it more than the EP

Actually, I was surprised at how instrumental it was. Was expecting more vocals for some reason.
i had plans for vocals on compulsion, but they fell through, the guy who was going to deliver some vocals for me disappeared along with the guy who did all the drumming in the album.
thanks tho, it was definitely an improvement for me over my EP, ive showed it to two of my friends and they really loved it, so im hoping it catches on with everyone else. i dont think any of my work is going to have much vocals outside of like samples from instructional army videos from the 40s since i dont know anyone irl that would be willing to sing for me
