Nice taste dude. But I don't get why you love Family Man. Is that better than My War?

loving that new danny brown record. props to you for having outkast and wu tang too.

Ik it's a bit heavy handed, but Family Man always stuck out a LOT more in my mind, so I've been bumping it a ton recently. The descriptive imagery just stuck in my head.

Plus, ik the little hat blocks it, but this is just recent listening mixed with all time favs, so idk how it stacks up over time.

how are you guys doin, hope it's been alright

mad props to dreamcrusher, that band blew my mind on first listen. also nice picks with melt-banana, cleaners f venus n fungi girls

Need recs

Just some recent stuff I have been enjoying some old some new. Not particular requests for in terms of rec today, so ahead surprise me with whatever.

Also I rec everyone in this topic the new Deathspell Omega EP. I know it's not out yet, but it will be out Nov. 8th and you guys should totally get it because DsO are amazing!

I do enjoy how the further you go down this chart, the whackier yet more depressing it gets thematically.

>Devo
>No wave stuff
The Coneheads - L.P.1

The full name of the LP's long as shit and hilarious.

I see you like your music on the arsty farsty side.

I have a feeling you're the person who recced it to me last topic, but check out Sunny Murray's solo stuff particularly his self titled and Sunshine for the crazy jazz drumming.

If you can find it, also check out Ali Akbar Khan's first album with John Handy. Some cool whacky Indian music jazzy shenanigans go on.

You should take advantage of free hugs whenever they are given out. Goddamn.

Whourkr - Concrete
No Comment - 87-93
Sutekh Hexen - Behind The Throne

This ain't just a top 10 thread though, it's worth posting a few more albums so people can rec you and shit.

Well the first thing I gotta ask is have you listened to Scion's rearrangement of Basic Channel stuff called Arrange And Process Basic Channel Tracks? Each track is made up of at least two different BC tracks. Pretty cool stuff.

Otherwise I would say check out the new Objekt mix it's some pretty cool techno with a variety of sounds and stuff.

I would give this chart a C. Get it? Because it's shaped like a C.

Bosse-De-Nage - All Fours
Logos - Cold Mission

>Bosse-De-Nage - All Fours
Thanks, weirdly enough I just listened to that!

Well shit I pressed send a bit prematurely so I don't have you on my main post right below. BUT, check out:

Floating Points. Cool house music guy. If you want more of groovy house akin to that Daft Punk and want to get more into it, literally just check out his EP and variety of singles he has done. But if you want the kind of realistic intrusment work that's on something like Dummy, check out the album he released last year, Elaenia.

And if you wanna be hip to more modern electronic cool stuff in general, just check out stuff by Nicolas Jaar. His 2011 release, Space Is The Only Noise, might as well be this decade's Discovery in terms of how influential it's been on good /bleep/ stuff this decade. He JUST released a new album yesterday; it's called Sirens.

>This ain't just a top 10 thread though, it's worth posting a few more albums so people can rec you and shit.
i know, im trying to work on a bigger chart but excluding singles, albums i haven't listened to much, and past favourites that i don't like as much any more, it's hard to even fill a top 30

prefers the pre-drinks to the event itself

Does anyone want to guess my personality? The results are always pretty accurate.

Thanks, i'll definitely check them out.

David Bowie - 1. Outside

I don't know what that album of the devil drinking kool-aid is like but it looks cool so I'mma listen to it (I hope it's not metal)

Amazing

Fuck man I love your god damn chart so much.

I'm 99% certain most of the albums on your chart are psychedelic rock.

I suck at this. Here's my chart and shit.

No bully alright.

I sticked to one album per band, but to those who love The Residents I really rec God in Three Persons and Voice of Midnight. Those albums are pretty underrated in favor of Edweena, Meet the Residents or Eskimo but they're really worth listening.

maybe rec someone else so we can decide whether we'll bully you or not

no need. magmoud awad in top 4 is bully material already.

good pick on huun huur tu though, faggot

I just want some fucking recs
