Just e-mail their A&R department and express an interest with releasing your work through them with samples of your work. How you word it would depend on the label but there's nothing shameless in self-promotion. Everyone has to do it to have a chance in the business.

Being from LA, skilled graphic artists, connections to the correct people in media. You do those things and you will be sponsored left and right after arena tours.
