What's the smartest genre of music? What do smart people listen to? Is there a genre that only truly intelligent people are capable of understanding?

there is zero correlation

Friendly reminder that the IQ test is not a measure of "smartness" and is in fact an incredibly US-centric set of completely learnable questions.

There is little correlation between musical taste and IQ

t. two-digit IQ

This question is sort of like the "Are all races different=equal?" question. No, factually they are not. But they're so close it's much easier to just round and say they're the same. At a genetic level at least. The mind is like clay, it's plastic, and can be shaped in most any way.

Jam bands.

a lot of intelligent people listen to instrumental music like jazz or classical, but I'm pretty sure that's more because the average lyricist doesn't deal with themes and ideas they care about that much while instrumental music is more abstract and not tied to particular themes as strongly

>Cred Forums higher than /lit/

why? because of all of the Rand shitposters and homework helpers in /lit/?

wait, hold on.
Is one's IQ lowered simply by knowing that these lower tier boards exist?

>only boards I browse are Cred Forums & Cred Forums
>both are at 96
it checks out

no, because because the chart is bogus

it's people like you who are dragging Cred Forums down on the chart
