yeah idk why i recommended it even if i find TS in general to be quite bland... i don't have much of a good eye for guessing :(
guitar solos is really good, sadly all of his other stuff i've heard were really cheesy and more pop structured. does he has more like guitar solos?

fair enough, i guessed you dug jazz pianists in general and i didn't see anything by those two
Roscoe is more free jaz than the others, but cool as well
These are my top three albums. Anything more than this and I start overthinking shit.
not as far as I'm aware. I don't actually listen to fred firth all that much I just thought it would be something you'd like. sorry

Steve Hauschildt - Tragedy & Geometry
other than that I'm not too knowledgeable beyond that, maybe a few albums.
german error message is literally in my top ten. nice aesthetic though. what's the top middle album?

gallowbraid - ashen eidolon
celtic frost - monotheist
ea - au ellai
siouxie and the banshees - hyaena
what's the first, fifth and the one below the first albums?

6. profit
listen to this rn (right now)

i haven't heard that mount eerie and i fucking love all phil's stuff so it's neat knowing there's even more great stuff i've missed
will do thanks. really like the first song already, the noisy guitars are nice
>better records in general,
can you give me an example
then you gotta try phil's "black metal" album, black wooden ceiling opening. the album on bandcamp comes with a really obscure, lofi live bootleg.
ik, too bad they never made a third lp
the heartland - frontier
hop along - get disowned
parts & labor - mapmaker
cats and cats and cats - mother whale
take a look at my chart i guess?
idk, i just meant that i don't really like it
but lots of people do so give it a shot
yesss i got that one, one of my favorites (actually had it on my chart for a while but recently swapped lost wisdom for it).
i wouldn't call it "black metal" tho but yeah, it's heavier but still sweet and cute in Phil's way
What did you think of Sauna? It's the best he's put out in years imo but people tend to disagree
Sauna is one of my favorite phil albums, I will never understand why so many people disagree.
Honestly I hope Phil is ok and he makes music again one day.
Also check out his wife's music with O Paon, it's beautiful.
If you really dig it, Dinosaur jr.'s 1988 album, Bug, will probably be right up your alley as well
Yeah, same here. It's a really rewarding listen and after a few it even feels better, just can't stop revisiting it after its release.
I hope he's okay too... it hit me so hard that Genevive died. I really dig O Paon and I had been following her music for a while so it hit me quite hard.
If you can give a listen to Genevieve Castree et The Watery Graves of Portland. It's a collaborative album and really nice too. I love her voice here, really intense at times.
that's why i said "black metal" with the quotation marks because, yeah, it isn't black metal but defenitly the closes he's gone. He draws influence from the genre so.
Sauna was great, a lot b etter than ocean roar and clear moon.
speaking of O Paon, check out this. Dunno what she's singing but I love the sound combination (aidan bakers droney gutars + her voice)
youtube.com
have you heard jenny hval - blood bitch?
it's definitively a grower and the first half is somewhat weak but i feel like it's right up your alley
...
>Liking Drake
hot off the presses bitches, I'll be back in 5 minutes to give recs
