I don't like the layout of the site. I tried to use tumblr but I didn't like it. I found it hard to find decent blogs and because you only follow and are followed by the same people it feels like an echo chamber and I didn't find a lot of new music. It's too time consuming too as you have to sift through rubbish to find gold and I want to spend my time doing other shit as I spend less than an hour on Cred Forums a day but tumblr requires more effort. I prefer visiting different websites for different genres rather than trying to force all my sources for new music onto one site/blog. Also I like the anonimity aspect of Cred Forums as I'm not online to make friends or cultivate a persona. I just want music and some discussion without people trying to prove they have the best taste or using music to form an identity/personality. (I'm looking at you metalheads!). Cred Forums meets most of my needs for forum based music discussion and tumblr's format inevitably leads to cliques or people turning music blogs into personal blogs given enough time.
