I'm going out, but soon i'll be back to give feedback. In the meantime, ratemymusic on rateyourmusic: rateyourmusic.com
maybe putting in name your price wasn't such a good idea... but i'd hate to be an asshole and start charging everyone when plenty of people were able to grab it for free. plus i feel like charging for an album that only cost me $5 to make [had to buy a new microphone] is not a very nice thing to do.

I'm working on making some cassettes so stay tuned for that if you like it. Will go through and check out some of these others since I forgot to last time

Reccing this guy as usual. Don't agree that you're ripping those dudes off. I think its pretty distinct.
Rec. First time checking this out. Really enjoying it. Kinda like chip-tune hip hop. Any real instruments or all digital?
This is also very good.
However I am way WAY more active on my sound cloud.

really liked these
This is cool, your description definitely fits (though I wouldn't call it ripping off, it's more dynamic than YS). The harsher noise (like the end of My Life) reminds me of the crisp I Am a Lake of Burning Orchids style noise, which I love. I feel like the bleep bloops are the weaker parts of it, have you considered making them noisier and working them into the soundscapes? Think that could be cool
I think I mentioned this one in a previous thread but it's great, especially now that it's finished (I think there were only 3 songs up when I first listened). It seems a little all over the place, but you do all of the different sounds well; I said I loved the post-rock track, and Compulsion has that spooky Earth/neo-Swans feel to it.
If you want people to pay for it you're better off making some cassettes or shirts, I'd buy a shirt if it looked good
This is one of the weirder things I've heard in a while, but it's not bad. Pretty demented sound that I think could work well if you added some dynamics, especially if you want to embrace the sludgy atmosphere.
You may be my favorite BC musician, you have an amazing voice and your guitar arrangements are so great. I need to sit down and listen to the new album all the way through when I have time, Giver Takes was excellent and from the first track of this one I'm sure it will be as well

>I said I loved the post-rock track, and Compulsion has that spooky Earth/neo-Swans feel to it.
swans was a bit of an inspiration for that one, with the minimal drums and just strumming Em on guitar
>If you want people to pay for it you're better off making some cassettes or shirts, I'd buy a shirt if it looked good
shirts i feel wouldn't work, i dont have a logo or any sort of image that's instantly associated with me but i'll see what i can do about cassettes.
the thing about that is i'm not sure how many people would actually buy it, because im sure lots of people would tell me to go for it but only half of them would buy them. plus i'd have to deal with a label in the US that i could trust, since i believe no one in PR makes cassettes anymore, and vinyl would be too expensive/have to make like at least 50 copies which i definitely won't manage to sell. CDs i could probably make by myself but i'd have to handle shipping and sending them out to other places which is very expensive here. basically i dont see a physical release happening anytime soon. in case i manage to do cassettes, i have this lovely pic related that would fit it perfectly
thanks for the feedback!
i listened to the title track and it was fantastic, i loved the singing and the dark sounds around it. i'd listen to the rest but im listening to some jazz so i'll finish your album tomorrow.
never stop trying
Bumping because I need to listen to these later, seem right up my alley
I like it man, thanks for the code. What You Know is a really groovy track. Downloading the album to listen to it all.
Hey Pleasance House! Album is still in the works! We had a bit of a delay going on. At latest, I hope to have that and another one out in December.

reccing this
First I want to rec a guy that isn't in here: nikohighlander.bandcamp.com
>progressive bossa nova
Not too into hip hop, but this sounds really nice. The beat really mixes with the vocal production and there's a strong personality to the rapping despite the bland delivery.
Definitely very samey, but that doesn't have to be a problem. The drawn out stuff makes the more normal sounding songs more surprising.
Wew this is cool. Just finished the first track and I loved how it developed and all the quirky things you did with your vocals. As it turns out I'm actually five songs into an album that's pretty similar to this, hope you don't mind.

Great
Really good, but maybe you should keep some low end in the vocals next time?
Shouldn't this be labeled industrial? Really good though
I had initially reviewed Lady Boy here but apparantly it was too long. Sorry.
God I loved this so much
Decent instrumentals, and relatable vocals I guess. I just wasn't feeling it. Side note: your voice sounds like Krist Noveselic's.
I think Prism should be your default song. Also, I would've liked if your vocals were just a bit more prominent. Otherwise, great work.
I liked this song a lot. It's kind of dumb, but in a good way (sorry.) It reminds me of "Mr. You're On Fire Mr." by Liars
I liked "Worker Strike" a lot. This album reminds me of the noise rock cassettes my little brother and I make.
This was really good. I envy your mixing skills, (although I would've enjoyed a stronger kick.)
Did you mix this yourself? It's immaculate. I love this.
I listened to "The Chase", but I'll have to download it and listen to the rest. It was great so far
I have such a soft spot for Vaporwave, (and rain sounds,) and i love that you sampled "Tonite" on "Record Store." I recognized it instantly. Also, fantastic cover art.
This is the best thing I've heard in this thread so far. Very Mac Demarco-ish, although I know some people hate him. Great song though.
First of all, I have to acknowledge your fingerpicking. I love fingerpicking and can't do it to save my life. Your vocals, harmonies & backup vocals are great and the subtle bass and bell synths are perfectly placed. Spectacular.
I had an idea to do something like this with numbers stations. I love the apocalyptic romanticism here, it's pretty unnerving at some spots.
Me. Just wanted to come back and leave a little bit of feedback since I haven't in a while.
Even though you are just sampling breakbeat drums and jazz, I can't get enough of how well you mixed it. Nice lofi aesthetics too.
