My dudes, what classifies a porn addiction?
My dudes, what classifies a porn addiction?
nothing
take your brainwashing and fuck off
Haha no brainwashing here bro. Genuinely curious
jerking off at least 4 times a day every day
Some people can do that without porn.
To answer the OP with my own personal opinion of it, I would say pressing "save" on anything and everything, even knowing full well youre never going to go back to view it later... dunno if thats addiction or hording, I guess both.
If you can't maintain an erection when you're fucking a woman IRL, you might have PIED.
If you can't maintain eye contact with a woman IRL, you definitely have major porn and masturbation issues.
If your worst porn related complaint is a desktop covered with jpegs and a full hard drive, you're not doing too bad. That can be fixed in a couple of minutes. Real PMO addiction can only be fixed by months of abstaining from any sexual stimulation.
an addiction is when the habbit starts taking priority over other parts of your life
example of porn addiction would be needing to watch it throughout the day even if you are working
If you can maintain a 4 hour erection without chemical enhancement you could be addicted( and qualified for the Olympic event)
watching porn for 2 hours a day
1. Get home before I shower.
2. In bed just before I fall asleep.
3. After I take a piss haflway through the day of sleeping(3rd shift) so I can fall asleep.
4. When I wake up cuz "morning wood"
5. In the shower after I wake up to clean myself off.
Occasionally a 6th time before work if im feeling up for it
How about 12+tb of content I will more than likely never view again, unless I see it again randomly online?
I am not disagreeing, and you most likely know more then I do on the subject. Dunno if its a compulsive hording thing, or the content itself.
same as any other addiction. If you legitimately want to stop and can't for reasons somewhat unknown, it's an addiction.

oh yea another big sign of addiction is that you have little control over your habbit
like you say you aren't going to watch any today but end up spending your entire free time doing it
any habit counts as an addiction once it starts having a negative impact on your physical or mental health, and /or on your life.
>If you are late to work/school because you cannot stop looking at porn, you have an addiction.
>if you become restless or agitated when you do not view porn for a prolonged period of time, you have an addiction
> this
>when you cannot relate to others except through some porn reference, you are a Cred Forumstard, and have an addiction
It's an addiction when it interferes with other things, and when it's impossible to go without.
Do you masturbate instead of work/study? Do you let it consume all of your free time? Does it make it so that you can't interact properly with women? If not, you're probably fine.
First half depends on age. By middle age erections aren&t as frequent.
Second half is bs. There are many reasons why you mightnot be able to maintain eye contact.
I get what you're doing, because I've done it too. By possessing all of that content, you believe you can go back and possess those women again any time you want to. But you're really only possessing the images of those women, a recording of a fantasy. That's why you never go back and look at those videos again, and instead you always hunt for more material. What you really desire is a human connection to a woman, and pornography will never satisfy that.
You are correct in both cases. With sexual desire diminishing in middle age, that just makes it more important to spend what energy one has on a real human partner rather than an illusion. As to eye contact, sure there are other reasons for people to lack confidence and be filled with shame, but the pornography epidemic is a major factor right now. It is real and it is a huge problem.
I can see what you mean, I can also see how there could be some semblance of truth in that, where I disagree is in that I am a happily married guy, have a healthy and loving relationship with my wife and sex life.
Why I keep believing it relates more so to a hording issue is basically because my wife has, over the years, made me throw away a lot of stuff and has brought to my attention that I may have some form of hording issue. When that was brought to my attention, I stopped hording physical things and I believe I replaced it with porn haha.
>what classifies a porn addiction?
having a girlfriend. they seem to be the only people that bring up "porn addiction" other than whacko churches
