I actually posted this a long ass time ago and am too lazy to type it all out. WHen I first go out of college I was working a shitty job in DC. If youhave ever been to DC you know the homeless there can be a mixed bag, One day I saw one dude I just felt particularly bad for near a metro station in january. Felt so bad I went to my trunk and raided my emergency supplies for water, blankets, and clothes. Gave it to the guy and he started crying, but noticed right before I left that he didn't have any socks on, just some shitty sneakers. So I took off my own socks and gave it to him. (homless people actually tend to lose feet easily to cold/disesase/poor hygene). Saw him near the station a few months later cleaned up. Aparently someone had seen my take off my own socks and put them on his gross ass feet. They were so moved that they offered him a place to stay for the night and gave him a job cleaning offices where they worked. He started crying and gave me a still quite smelly hug. God bless your ass wherever you are Horace.

Her rape didn't generate anything to my knowledge since it was just another rape in the big city. Didn't ever see anything on the news about him, but then again in retrospect the dude was involved with a lot of shady shit (plus I guess he technically snitched on people to get a lighter sentence). I always figured he had more than one person out their that would want to kill him and probably didnt report the incident.
