I liked Melee too, but too many of the characters were unplayable. The character balance just wasn't there, and the meta largely involved a few of the characters. Plus wavedashing isn't fun. Brawl was fun on a surface level but wasn't as deep. Smash 4 has great potential but in my opinion is too defensive.

jpeg works best for photographs. Simple images with few colors compress better with PNG, and it's lossless so it doesn't get those rough edges, and it can be changed to other formats without adding or removing anything.

Why the interest in the NX? I don't know much about consoles or games anymore. What are people hoping for? Is it presumed to be a real console or for filthy casuals like the Wii?

Hopefully, it won't be like the abortion Wii U was. Hopefully, we'll see a wider variety of games and genres, and series that don't just revolve around Nintendo's "Big Three." Hopefully, we'll see better VR than the other consoles will have, and hopefully we'll see even more than just gimmicky "innovation." Hopefully, a real console with enjoyable games that have high replayability, instead of just cheap gimmicks no one will care about a month later and cooking games.

One can only hope.

I suppose what I don't get is if people want that, why they care what Nintendo is doing when Sony and Microsoft are doing that. Is it just longtime fans of Nintendo or are they (you) expecting something better than you'd get from a Playstation or Xbox?
