My first job was at a dry cleaners. It was because of that that I realized the dry cleaners is actually completely unnecessary. I organized several hundred pieces of clothing a day, half of which was thrown in a completely normal washing machine while the other half was made of some useless material and needed a special chemical to be cleaned with. Seriously, if you want a shirt like silk you can find much cheaper alternatives made of a polyester-cotton blend. Best part? You can wash it yourself in a normal machine.

On the plus side, I can sort my laundry faster than anyone I know and have a better idea of clothing materials and fashion.
