Me and the missus can't think of a film to watch

Me and the missus can't think of a film to watch.

We're after something scary, but no cheap monster flicks. Clever, but not pretentious.

You guys recommended the Babadook last time and we were impressed.

So....any clever, creepy movies to recommend?

And in return, I recommend a movie called A Field in England. I'm sure you won't have watched anything like it.

The Grifter

The poughkeepsie tapes. The only movie that has actually made me feel uneasy.

Was all right, nothing to write home about though. Could figure the ending half way through.

This rings a bell....I'll regret watching it, won't I?

The Mist, Silence of the Lambs

what about The Fourth Kind then

GOT IT, rabbits David Lynch vimeo.com/60885578

Seconded. May be fake as shit but still spooked me for a while.

Dunno about scary, but some decent horror:
The Thing (1982)
The Shining
American Werewolf in London
The Fly
Poltergeist
1408
Rosemary's Baby

I watched The Fly as a kid and haven't been right since. I can't watch it. Downloading it. Hope it's cool.

Don't watch this shit. I had to cut the tips of my pinkies off to get over it.

I'm this guy: I fucking hated Fourth Kind. I thought it was boring as fuck; a real struggle to watch.

The boy 2016

Seconded

The Shrooms movie was cool

stranger things was great. not a movie though

Sharknado

The antichrist

Just realized I've seen it before. Bugger. She's not seen it yet, and have to agree, it's a bit of a slog.

Just finished binging. Last episode was a joke, the first seven were exceptional.

Red, White, and Blue.
Just be patient, it is amazing

I saw that shadow thing once during sleep paralysis.
Scary as fuck when the shadow goes right behind you and you can't see what it's doing.

Watch session 9. Your pants will be brown with shit stains

meh

It Follows. Probably the best American horror movie made in like 15 years

I could see the ending from a mile away

Oooh we enjoyed this a few weeks ago. Pleasantly surprising. Cool original concept.

Watch Magic. It's a 1978 psychological thriller with young Anthony Hopkins Ann-Margret and Burgess Meridith. Favorite scary movie. Anthony Hopkins is a struggling Magician who introduces a foul mouthed dummy into his act. As the plot unravels you wonder who controls whom. Excellent example off traditional cinematic horror. Not necessarily scary or gory but an excellent movie I would recommend to anyone.

Hell yea. I also recommended Red, White, and Blue above looking at your taste I would give it a try it's fucking good trust me man
