Well now you did it, as a vet who has been fighting for veterans for most of my adult life I have and more than a handful. There's a thing called the Independent Budget that's presented to congress every year by the DAV, VFW, PVA American Legion, et. al. . The congress makes the budget and blows off these groups, the congress has been republican controlled for quite sometime. Vets keep voting against they're own interest and if Trump gets elected I fully expect the VA to be privatized or gone altogether. I used to lobby for one of those groups above for ten years as a member and quit government relations, it's fruitless.
