Watch V8 Supercars instead

While F1 is actually competitive now, IMO the sport was more technically pure back in the 90s-early 00s.

Also, the engines sounded better.

Please watch our reddit sport, Big Strong American.

I grew up on nascar. figured itd be a nice way to get back into motorsports.

>MercedeswinsLOL
>competitive

K E K

Please "root" for American driver Lewis Hamilton, my Big Strong American friend.

>competitive
>mercedes has won like 90% of the races in the last 3 years
>red bull won like 90% of the races the 4 yeats before that

A couple of briefly entertaining years, then SWL before even that. F1 hasn't been good since before 2000 and anyone who says different is looking at it with rose tinted glasses.

You can root for Haas which is an American team.

>the sport was more technically pure back in the past

You can say about quite a lot of disciplines in motorsport, heck even about many other sports. Something about improved technology that, for all it's benefits and blessings, reduces the importance of technique.

do they suck?

middle of the pack, which is pretty good for a team in their first year

Rolling for car number of driver you are now rooting for. If not exact, then closest one gets it.

Congrats OP you are now a Bottas fan. He drives for a decent team (Williams) and has potential to be one of the better drivers in the grid. He's from Finland, so you get to root for a driver from a meme country.

Rolling

kek the other Finnish driver.

word. I like Finland.

Raikkonen

>Williams
>Decent

>Butt-Ass
>potential

he's 27, time to stop talking about potential

GIMI :DDD

KIMI

Daniel Ricciardo or Sebastian Vettel

frogboy

Alternative start watching MotoGP
Better racing than F1

cheeky roll

this post made me very happy for some reason

There's literally nobody to root for as an American.

>no American drivers
>Haas sucks and their drivers are homosexuals
>Mercedes wins everything, can't bandwagon them
>Daniel Ricciardo is based, but can you really pull for an Aussie?
>Kimi is based, but can you really pull for Ferrari?

Seriously, there's nobody to support. Might as well just get cucked and root for Bottas.

mercedes won 87% 2014-now
red bull won 53% 2010-2013

fucking americans. can't even watch sports unless they're cheering for someone

Who to cheer for chart:

Makes sense tier:
>Haas

Go kill yourself tier:
>Hamilton
>Rosberg

Meme magic tier
>gimi
>amx
>Alonso

It really dosn't matter tier
>anyone else

>competitive
>the same team has literally won 14 of 15 races

>and lost the 15th because their two drivers crashed into each other

Force India

>based Sergio Perez
>comfy 8th place finishes with the occasional 5th place
>sometimes might even get on the podium

gimi :D

>but can you really pull for Ferrari?

what?

>Mercedes wins everything, can't bandwagon them
What if I've liked them since 2010? Should I quit supporting a team if they start winning?

Cheer for Kvyat, he needs it.

Lewis Hamilton is America's driver, but only plebs like him.

I like Kimi and Grosjean. My favorite team right now is everyone who isn't Mercedes.

F1 has been boring shit for the last 6 years at least.

Finnish drivers. Always Finnish drivers, there's something magical about a Finn in a car.

Since you are most likely african-american, I would recommend cheering for your kin, Lewis Hamilton

Started watching 2 years ago - still watch for some reason. Mercedes wins almost every race, but if you can get past that it's fairly interesting.

>look at haas car online
>most of it is made by ferrari

Why not just root for ferrari instead?
